| Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Xingqi Huoxue Decoction in relieving perioperative swelling and pain of Schatzker type IV,V and VI tibial plateau fractures,as well as its effect on shortening preoperative waiting time and reducing complications.It provides theoretical basis for the early application of qi and blood circulation therapy in orthopedics department and further guides the application of Traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of tibial plateau fracture.Methods:The subjects of this study were all patients with tibial plateau fracture treated in the Orthopedic Surgery Department of Weihai Central Hospital Medical Group from January 2021 to December 2021.A total of 60 patients were screened strictly according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,and randomly divided into experimental group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.Both groups received routine treatment for tibial plateau fracture after admission,and the experimental group began to take Xingqi Huoxue decoction after admission on the basis of routine treatment,and stopped taking the decoction until the day of surgery,and continued to take it from the 1st day after surgery to the 7th day after surgery.The control group was treated with routine detumescence and analgesia,and other treatments were the same.The differences of pain degree,swelling degree,preoperative waiting time and perioperative complications between the two groups were observed and recorded.SPSS22.0 software was used for statistical analysis to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,operation time,fracture type and other basic data between the two groups(P > 0.05),and the data between the two groups were comparable.2.Visual analogue scale(VAS)of pain:VAS scores before treatment and operation were compared between the two groups,and there was no statistical significance(P > 0.05).VAS scores were compared between the two groups at3,5 and 7 days after treatment and 3,5 and 7 days after surgery,respectively,and the results showed statistical significance(P < 0.05),indicating that the analgesic effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group before and after operation.3.Swelling ratio of affected limb circumference: The swelling ratio of affected limb circumference before treatment and operation was compared between the two groups,and there was no statistical significance(P >0.05).The swelling ratios of affected limb circumference were compared between the two groups at 3,5 and 7 days after treatment and 3,5 and 7 days after surgery,respectively,and the results showed statistical significance(P < 0.05).,indicating that the detumescence effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group before and after operation.4.Preoperative waiting time:The preoperative waiting time of the two groups was compared,and the results showed statistical significance(P <0.05),indicating that the experimental group could shorten the preoperative waiting time compared with the control group,which further shows that the therapeutic effect of detumescence in the experimental group is superior to the control group.5.Perioperative complications:Tension blister and compartment syndrome from admission to the end of treatment were recorded and compared between the two groups,and the results showed no statistical significance(P > 0.05),indicating that there was no therapeutic difference in the prevention of perioperative complications between the two groups.Conclusion:Xingqi Huoxue Decoction can promote the subside of perioperative limb swelling of Schatzker type IV,V and VI tibial plateau fracture,reduce the pain degree of patients and shorten the preoperative preparation time,which is worthy of further clinical promotion and improve the role of Traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of tibial plateau fracture. |
