Clinical Observation Of Buqi Huoxue Shuxin Decoction In The Treatment Of Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome After PCI(Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective:To assess the therapeutic effectiveness and safety of Buqi Huoxue Shuxin Decoction in patients who have had PCI for acute coronary syndrome(Qi deficit and blood stasis syndrome).Methods:Between January 2020 and December 2021,sixty two patients diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome by PCI procedure in western medicine and syndrome distinction of qi deficiency and blood stasis in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)were chosen.The random number table approach was used to group the patients,with 31 in the observation group and 31 in the control group.The control group received standard western medication,whereas the observation group received Buqi Huoxue Shuxin Decoction in addition to the control group’s treatment.The clinical observation period was 8 weeks,and the lipid levels(including total cholesterol TC,triglycerides TG,LDL-C,LDL-C),heart rate variability indexes(time domain indexes:SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD;frequency domain indexes:HF,LF),TCM syndrome integral scale scores and TCM syndrome response rates before and after treatment were compared and statistically analyzed to reach the conclusion.Results:A total of 62 patients were included in this study,and 30 patients in the observation group and 30 patients in the control group were finally enrolled due to non adherence to medications,loss to follow-up,and other reasons.After the 8-week clinical observation cycle,patients in both groups had a significant decrease in three lipid indicators compared with those before treatment,and the decrease in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD,HF,LF)of the heart rate variability indexes in both groups were significantly improved compared with the pretreatment values,and the observation group improved better than the control group(P<0.05);The total score of TCM Syndrome Scale and the score of each single item syndrome in the two groups after treatment were decreased compared with those before treatment,and the decrease in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05);Comparing the efficacy of TCM syndromes in the two groups,the total effective rate was 90% in the observation group and 70% in the control group,and the observation group was superior to the control group(P<0.05);No significant adverse events occurred in either group.Conclusion:In this study,the application of Buqi Huoxue Shuxin decoction combined with conventional western medicine therapy can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients,which is beneficial to the recovery of the body autonomic nerve function,effectively reduces the blood lipid level of patients,with no adverse effects,and clinical medication is safe and effective,which is worth the generalized use.
