Observation Of Curative Effect Of Zhuang Medicine Heat-sensitive Acupoint Acupuncture Therapy On Idiopathic Facial Paralysis

Objective: By comparing the changes of the facial nerve function grading scale(House-Brackmann,H-B)and the facial disability index(FDI)score before and after treatment of idiopathic facial nerve paralysis by Zhuang medicine heat-sensitive acupuncture acupuncture To clarify its curative effect,provide a clinical basis for the treatment of idiopathic facial nerve paralysis by acupuncture with heat-sensitive acupuncture points of Zhuang medicine.Methods: Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group used Zhuang medicine moxa to apply gentle moxibustion to Zhuang medicine inner ring points and related acupoints on the face,and then Zhuang medicine acupuncture treatment was performed after identifying the heat-sensitive points;the control group was given conventional traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture treatment.The two groups were treated once a day,6 times as a course of treatment,a total of 2courses of treatment.The changes of H-B grade,FDI score,and adverse reactions before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The change of H-B surface nerve grade before and after treatment was used as the main efficacy evaluation standard,and the change of FDI scale score before and after treatment was used as the secondary efficacy.To observe the clinical efficacy of Zhuang medicine heat-sensitive acupoint acupuncture therapy on idiopathic facial paralysis.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,H-B scale grading,and FDI score between the two groups of patients before treatment(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups are comparable.2.Comparison of facial nerve function classification: The H-B facial nerve function classification of the two groups before and after treatment was compared within the group,and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05),indicating that the two groups could effectively improve the facial nerve function;the two groups were compared after treatment.,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving facial nerve function.3.Comparison of facial disability index scores: The physical function(FDIP)and social life function(FDIS)scores of the two groups before and after treatment were compared within the group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).It shows that both groups can effectively improve physical function and improve the quality of social life of the patients;after the treatment between the two groups,the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group can improve both physical function and social life function.better than the control group.4.Comparison of effective rates: 11 cases in the treatment group were cured,16 cases were markedly effective,2 cases were effective,1 case was ineffective,and the total effective rate was 96.67%;The effective rate was86.67%.It showed that the treatment group was better than the control group in the overall curative effect(P < 0.05).5.Evaluation of adverse reactions: There were no adverse reactions in the two groups of patients during treatment.Conclusion(s):1.Both Zhuang medicine heat-sensitive acupuncture acupuncture therapy and traditional Chinese medicine general acupuncture therapy can effectively treat idiopathic facial paralysis,improve the facial nerve function of patients,reduce the risk of facial disability,and improve the quality of life.2.Zhuang medicine heat-sensitive acupoint acupuncture therapy has better effect in H-B facial nerve function classification,physical function(FDIP),social life function(FDIS)score and overall curative effect.3.The clinical curative effect of Zhuang medicine heat-sensitive acupoint acupuncture therapy for idiopathic facial paralysis is ideal.
