The Role Orientation And Narrative Strategy Of TV Cultural Program Host From The Perspective Of Narratology ——Taking The Graduation Work "Record Art" As An Example

In recent years,the number of cultural programs continues to grow,which the content and form it is also changing with each passing day.On the one hand,cultural programs have educational and entertainment functions,on the other hand,they are also important manners of carrying forward the national spirit and inheriting national culture.In this process,the host is the embodiment of the personification of the TV program,so we need to pay attention not only to the program itself but also to the role and function of the host in the program.In addition,the narrative of TV programs is universal,because no matter whether a TV program tells an event or not,it has a narrative process.Therefore,this text will analyze the function and role of the host in cultural programs based on narratology.As an important part of the program,the narration function of the host is very important.Gerard Genette,the representative of structuralism narratology,mainly studies narrators,narrative time,narrative space,narrative visual angle,and narrative style.In cultural programs where the host shows frequently,the narrator usually appears as the host in the first person.Then the host will also bring a unified narrative perspective to the audience,that we have to view the whole event from the point of view of the host's internal focus.The host's narrative style is also required to be consistent with the style of the whole program.Then,what new viewpoints can be found based on the function and role of narratology in the program? The author thinks that the host is at least the core of the narrative process,the supplement of narrative discourse,and the establishment of narrative style.From the perspective of narratology,we can also find the new role of the host.The host also has an impact on the overall narrative strategy of the program.The existing narrative research of cultural programs usually takes the program as the research object,but the narrative research of the host is relatively few.In combination with the graduation work "The Memory Of Art",the author tries to find a new point of view for the function positioning and narrative strategy of the host of cultural programs from the perspective of narrative and the basic principle of radio and television studies,combined with some classic case studies.
