A Study On The Construction Of Talk Field Of TV Talk Show Host ——Case Study Of Talk With Heart

The popularity of talk show is unavoidably connected to its strong sense of presence.The host's talk aura field plays a key role in TV talk show.The construction of the host's talk field is inseparable from the construction of identity.Therefore,in combination with the relevant theories of pragmatic identity and in connection with the research methods such as literature research and case study,the paper conducts a research on the talk aura field construction of the talk show host from two main aspects of “identity construction”and “topic construction”.This paper consists of six parts.The purpose and significance of the research,research status quo,research contents and methods,and the introduction of the author's works constitute the introduction part.The first chapter is concerned about the analysis of TV talk show and the host's talk field.The research finds that the change of TV talk show host's “talk field” is from“comprehensiveness” to “partial”,from “direct narration” to “artistry”,and from “single question” to “diversity”.The author explores the identity and topic construction of the host's talk field in the second and third chapter.First and foremost,the host is suggested to construct a triple identity,the “listener”,“facilitator” and “companion”.As the “listener”,the host should entirely listens and memorizes all the contents of the dialogues,the "facilitator” requires to create an appropriate talking atmosphere,and the host also strives for a companion who conforms to interlocutor's psychology and lengthens the company beyond the talk field.Secondly,the topic construction of the talk field is composed by the interaction prior to the talk,the control during the talk and the break of the conversation scene.The last chapter narrates the problems and countermeasures of the host in the construction of the conversation field.Corresponding countermeasures have been proposed with reference to the incorrectness of the host's talk field identity construction and problem of simplification of the topic construction.From what have been researched above,a conclusion can be reached that host of talk show is required to create a thorough identity construction on which an accurate and appropriate topic can be constructed.Moreover,the host needs to demonstrate not only the “presence” of the principal part of discourse but also presents the authentic contents of the talks to the maximum.
