Under the background of information age,keeping pace with the times has become an inevitable requirement for education and teaching work.In the implementation proposal of biology curriculum standard for compulsory education(2011 Edition),it is clearly proposed that full attention should be paid to the use of information curriculum resources.News,as an important information resource,has important application value in teaching.The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation and existing problems of junior high school biology teachers in the application of news materials in teaching,and put forward systematic application strategies for the problems found.Through the questionnaire survey,this study found out the current situation of the application of news materials in junior high school biology teaching,and found that teachers are lack of access to news materials and teaching strategies for specific application of news materials.According to this,this paper first puts forward the principles of news material selection,such as scientific principle,fitting principle,comprehensive principle,diversified principle,and the principles of news material application,such as preprocessing principle,student-centered principle,guiding principle,supplementary principle,and expanding principle.Then,on this basis,it puts forward the strategies of auxiliary knowledge,multiple activities,creating situations,and exercises Teaching strategies,such as teaching strategy,popular science strategy and so on.Finally,the design of teaching cases for teaching practice,through interviews with front-line teachers and students,to test its scientificity and feasibility,and further improve the case design.This study shows that the application of news materials in junior high school biology teaching can strengthen the connection between biology learning and life,create a scientific and active classroom atmosphere,and enable students to actively participate in classroom learning,which is of great significance to the cultivation of students' biological science literacy.
