Under the background of vigorous development of information education in the new era,biology education and teaching should also develop and progress together with The Times.The new curriculum standards point out that we should pay attention to the achievement of core literacy goals and implement the education of STS(science-technology-society)interaction.Current affairs news is easy to obtain,real-time,lively and other characteristics.Transforming it into teaching resources can not only help students acquire knowledge related to STS,but also comply with the requirements of the new curriculum concept and educational reform.The author understands the current situation of the development and application of current affairs news teaching resources through a questionnaire survey of teachers.There are some problems such as "the amount of information of current affairs news is too large,it is not easy to find the right current affairs news" and "I don't know how to introduce current affairs news into teaching".According to the student questionnaire,nearly 90% of the interviewed students hope to introduce current affairs news into the classroom,and more than half of the students have varying degrees of difficulty in solving questions related to current affairs news.This article will take the development of current affairs news teaching resources as the breakthrough point,formulate the development principles of current affairs news teaching resources,from the way and way of collecting information,including news screening,integration,classification for a comprehensive description.In order to solve the teachers in the current affairs news teaching resources in the development of the existing problems.Current affairs news teaching resources are applied to classroom teaching in practice schools.The application effect was evaluated by classroom observation and student interview.Combined with practical experience and learning experience,teaching fragments are designed for different teaching links,and the application strategies of current affairs news teaching resources are analyzed.So as to solve the problems existing in the application of current affairs news teaching resources.This paper aims to transform the current news materials into applicable teaching resources for high school biology teaching,and explore its application effects,hoping to draw a conclusion,and strive to provide a set of simple development process and easy implementation of application strategies for high school biology teachers.Through practical research,the thesis mainly draws the following conclusions :(1)the development of current affairs and news teaching resources provides convenience for front-line teachers;(2)The application of current affairs news teaching resources is beneficial to cultivate students' sense of social responsibility;(3)The development and application of current affairs and news teaching resources provide an effective way to promote teachers' professional development.
