Curriculum resources refer to the source of factors that form the curriculum and the necessary and direct conditions for implementing the curriculum.Making full use of existing curriculum resources and actively developing new curriculum resources which not only meet the requirements of biological curriculum standards,but also are an important way to deepen curriculum reform and improve teaching efficiency.The effective application of current news resources in junior middle school biology teaching not only allows students to learn more about the "living" knowledge associated with science,technology and society(STS),but also is the requirements of the new curriculum concept and the implementation of quality education.This research mainly adopts literature research method and questionnaire method,and makes a preliminary study on the application of current news resources in junior middle school biology teaching through mathematical analysis.Through questionnaire survey,we found that the current news in junior middle school biology teaching has the following problems: biology teacherpay more attention to current news,but ignore the development of relevant news materials,which is less used in teaching;current news resources mainly come from mass media,while the multimedia and network hardware facilities in schools are not perfect enough;students' awareness of current news is weak,and they pay less attention to the collection of current news.Aiming at the problems existing in the utilization of current news resources,the corresponding solutions are proposed: encouraging schools and teachers to jointly establish a biology teaching resource database for current news;rationally develop and apply current news resources;improving hardware facilities,optimizing teaching contents and improving teachers' classroom teaching quality;let students develop the quality of paying attention to the news,and improve students' attention awareness.The significance of this research is that,first of all,the Biology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education clearly stated that students should know the development of bioscience technology,the application of knowledge in life,production and socialdevelopment,and can analyze and solve practical problems.Therefore,applying current news resources to biology teaching in junior middle school is helpful to complete the teaching tasks better and implement the junior middle school biology curriculum objectives.secondly,for students,the effective use of current news resources can not only keep the freshness of biology teaching materials,but also make connection with students' life experiences,stimulate students' interest,widen students' horizons,cultivate students' biological science literacy and social responsibility.For teachers,development and utilization of current news is helpful to widen the teacher's teaching horizon and make the teaching content not limited to the teaching materials,but to connect with the reality and reflect the application of knowledge.Finally,this research may further improve and develop the basic theory of current news resources in biology teaching of junior middle school,and provide some references for front-line teachers when they use the media resources,such as current news in their teaching practice.
