| Objective: The number of adolescent game-dependent patients is increasing year by year,which will have adverse effects on adolescents mental health growth,cognition and personality development.This study aims to provide reference for improving the cognitive and social functions of game-dependent adolescents by exploring the effects of Naikan therapy on the overall well-being index,depressive symptoms and anxiety symptoms of adolescents with gaming dependence.Methods: In this study,30 patients who were first diagnosed with outpatient treatment of adolescent game-dependent behavior disorder in the Second People’s Hospital of Gansu Province from October 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research objects of this study.The selected research subjects all meet the diagnostic criteria for gaming disorder in the eleventh edition of the International Classification of Diseases(ICD-11)and are aged12 to 18 years.All subjects were divided into the study group and the control group with 15 cases in each group by random number table method(odd and even number method)according to the order of admission.The research group received centralized Naikan treatment,while the control group received routine psychological intervention.Both groups received intervention for 7 days.Before and after the intervention,the Internet Addiction Test(IAT),the General Well-Being Schedule(GWB),the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7(GAD-7)and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)were used to evaluate the two groups.Statistical software SPSS13.0 was used to analyze and process the data,and the degree of Internet addiction,overall well-being index,anxiety state and depression state were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:(1)A total of 30 adolescents with game-dependent behavior disorder were included,1 case dropped out in the research group and 1 case in the control group,and there were 28 cases in the actual analysis.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in age,gender,duration of disease,and whether there was only one child between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).(2)Before treatment,there was no significant difference in IAT scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the IAT scores of the two groups of patients were lower than those before treatment,and the IAT scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant Significance(P<0.01).(3)Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the GWB score between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the GWB score of the two groups of patients was higher than that before treatment,and the GWB score of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant Significance(P<0.01).(4)Before treatment,there was no significant difference in GAD-7 scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the GAD-7scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the GAD-7 scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(5)Before treatment,there was no significant difference in PHQ-9 scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,the PHQ-9 scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the PHQ-9 scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)Naikan therapy has a significant therapeutic effect in intervening game-dependent behavior disorder in adolescents.(2)Adolescents with game-dependent behavior disorder all have low overall well-being index,anxiety and depression.(3)Naikan therapy can improve the overall well-being index,eliminate anxiety and improve depression in adolescents with game-dependent behavior disorder.(4)Naikan therapy can be used as a safe,effective and simple psychotherapy method in the clinical treatment of adolescents with game-dependent behavior disorder,and it is worthy of popularization and promotion. |
