Purpose:Through naikan therapy on depressive disorder, observe the changes of electroencephalogram(EEG)for each patient and contact existed neural electrophysiology research results on depressive disorder, find out electroencephalogram changes and clinical effects of the naikan therapy with drugs to only use drugs on depressive disorder.Maybe finding an new direction to study depressive disorder with naikan therapy. Methods: Collected 36 semlples in 1st November 2019 to 10 th April 2020 in gansu province second people’s hospital of depressive disorder in hospitalized patients.Patients were numbered according to the order of admission and grouped naikan therapy group and control group in odd or even numbers, each group with18 cases,Respectively, according the symple to give patients with antidepressant medications in the first two weeks,at the beginning of 3rd week one group with naikan therapy combined drugs, the control group use the drugs combined physical and other psychological treatments, each group do with self-rating depression scale(SDS)and Hamilton’s depression rating scale-24 version(HAMD-24)from patients to evaluate the treatment effect at begin and the end of 2ed week and 3rd week, electroencephalogram at the end of 2ed and 3rd week. Results: 31 cases of evaluation results analysis:(1)the beginning to the end of 2ed week and the end of 2ed week to the end of 3rd week, the two groups with SDS depression index results show the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);at the beginning and the end of 2ed week the score difference is not significan betwween groups(P<0.05);(2)the beginning to the end of 2ed week and the end of 2ed week to the end of 3rd week, the two groups with the HAMD-24 scores’ results show the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);at the beginning and the end of 2ed week the score difference is not significan betwween two groups(P<0.05);at the end of 3rd wee the HAMD-24 score reduction rate,it suggested that the effect of naikan therapy was better.(3)electroencephalogram changes occurred in both groups before and after treatment, with the time of delta, theta, alpha wave increasing and time of beta, sigma decreasing. The difference of theta, alpha, beta, sigma wave occurrence time in naikan therapy was statistically significant(P<0.05);the change of time of only beta band in the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the occurrence time of beta and Sigma frequency bands was comparable, but the difference between them at the end of the 3rd week was not statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical symptoms of patients on depressive disorder treated with naikan therapy combined with drugs were better than those treated with drugs alone in the same time.Naikan therapy combind with drugs may increase the brain theta and alpha electroencephalogram activity in patients with depression, reduce beta and Sigma electroencephalogram activity, achieve a certain state of relaxation and improve attention in patients with depression.
