PurposeThis paper take burn patients as the research subject to discuss their current situation and influencing factors for the quality of life, revealing the psychological resilience of burn patients and the relationship between cognitive evaluation and quality of life, and to enrich the theory of trauma care and promoting the resilience and cognition evaluation for burn patients,so as to provides an empirical basis for improving the quality of life.Methods1.Literature analysis method was applied to analyze the research progress of the quality of life of burn patients national and international and also the theoretical framework for this paper.2.To collect data by cross-sectional survey method based on descriptive research design. The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, cognitive evaluation scale,stream-lined burn health scale, disability acceptance scale, social support scale were used as the tools for assessment. The information was collected including resilience, cognitive evaluation, and quality of life, disability acceptance, social support and other infor-mation from 315 burn patients. The statistical analysis of the survey data was carried out using SPSS22.0 software.Relevant analysis was used to explore the correlation between demographic variables,disease-related factors, cognitive evaluation,disa-bility acceptance, social support and quality of life.Hierarchical linear regression was used to explore the relationship between demographic variables,disease-related factors, resilience, cognitive evaluation, disability acceptance, social support and quality of life.Result1.The total score of resilience of burn patients was 57.12±13.34,the total quality of life was 128.29±37.26,the total score of disability acceptance was 78.20±9.99,and the total score of social support was 36.35±7.00.The total uncertainty in cognitive evaluation was 19.42±5.22,the total disease threat was 12.8±3.81,the total respon-sibility taking was 15.14±3.95,and the positive evaluation was 7.31±1.53.2.The result of the correlation analysis of each variable(1)The total score of resilience of burn patients was positively correlated with quality of life(r=0.646,P<0.01),and also positively correlated with all subscales of quality of life.(2)The subscales of cognitive evaluation, uncertainty feeling to the outcome of disease(r=-0.748,P<0.01)and disease threat(r=-0.721,P<0.01)were negatively correlated with the total quality of life of burn patients. The positive evaluation subscale(r=0.344,P<0.01)and the responsibility were positively correlated with the quality of life of burn patients(r=0.157,P<0.01).(3)The total score of disability acceptance of burn patients was positively correlated with the total score of quality of life(r=0.846,P<0.01),and also positively correlated with nine subscales of quality of life.(4)The total score of social support of burn patients was positively correlated with the total score of quality of life(r=0.134,P<0.01).The subscale objective support of dimensions and the utilization of support were positively correlated with the total score of quality of life. However, there is no statistical significance with the subscale of subjective support3.Linear regression analysis was applied to analysis that the interpretation power of the relevant variables on burn patients’total quality of life takes accounted to80.0%.The entering of the demographic and disease-related data of the first block can explain that the quality of life takes account to 51.0%.Among which the statistically significant variables were cultural level, religious belief, burn location, sleep status and burn severity; After the entering of the second group’s resilience to the equation, the interpretation power of the dependent variable reached to 64.4%,and the independent interpretation of resilience accounted for 13.4%of the influencing factors(R~2=13.4%);After the cognitive evaluation of the third block entered the equation, the interpretation power of the dependent variable reached to 73.9%,and the independent interpretation of cognitive evaluation accounted to 9.5%of the influencing factors(R~2=9.5%);After the cognitive assessment of the fourth block entered the equation, the interpretation power of the dependent variable reached to 77.8%,and the inde-pendent interpretation of cognitive evaluation accounted to 3.9%of the influencing factors(R~2=9.5%);After the cognitive evaluation of the fifth block entered the equation, the interpretation power of the dependent variable reached to 80%,and the independent interpretation of cognitive evaluation accounted to 2.3%of the influen-cing factors(R~2=2.3%).Conclusion1.The quality of life of burn patients reported in this study was at a moderately lower level.2.The level of education, religious beliefs, burn sites, sleeping conditions and burn severity were the main influencing factors of quality of life.3.The quality of life and resilience were positively correlated with disability acceptance and social support, and also positive correlation with positive cognitive evaluation and responsibility taking, but negatively correlated with disease uncer-tainty and threatening disease. The quality of life of burn patients is affected by multiple related variables. Each related variable can explain 80%of the factors that affects the quality of life of burn patients.Among them, the general demographic factors and burn characteristics accounted for 51.0%,and resilience accounted for 13.4%.Cognitive evaluation varia-ble accounted for 9.5%.Disability acceptance variable accounted for 3.9%and social support variables accounted for 2.3%.
