Clinical Observation Of Curative Effect Of Triple Puncture Combined With Warm Acupuncture Therapy On Piriformis Syndrome

Objectives To observe the clinical efficacy of triple puncture combined with warm acupuncture in the treatment of piriformis syndrome by comparing the therapeutic effects of triple puncture combined with warm acupuncture and conventional acupuncture.Methods Cases were strictly screened according to inclusion criteria,and the sample consisted of 94 patients.The cases were randomly divided into two groups.Methods: The main points(Ashi and Huantiao points)were treated with triple puncture simultaneously and warm acupuncture,performed in the treatment group(47 cases);47 cases were compared and treated with conventional acupuncture.Methods: acupoint(Ashi and Huantiao points),Juliao,Zhibian,Chengfu,Weizhong,Yanglingquan and so on.Keep the needle for 30 minutes,once a day,6 times for 1 course of treatment,2 courses of acupuncture.After 2 courses of treatment,all patients’ VAS score decrease information,clinical symptom score decrease,cure rate and immediate effective rate were observed to evaluate the curative effect.Results 1 after taking all kinds of basic information of the two groups,the results showed no significant difference(P > 0.05),can be compared.2 TCM syndrome analysis:The scores of VAS and clinical symptoms of the two groups of patients were decreased compared with those before treatment,which showed that the pain degree and clinical symptoms of piriformis syndrome could be improved by the two treatments;it shows significantly different between the two groups(P < 0.01).3 The data are as follows: in the treatment group,the effective rate was 89%,18 cases were cured,24 cases were remarkable effective,4 cases were effective,1 case was invalid;in the control group,the effective rate was only 62%,5 cases were cured,24 cases were remarkable effective,14 cases were effective,4 cases were invalid,W = 1770.000,Z =-3.804,P = 0.000 < 0.01,there was a significant difference between the two groups,which showed that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.The immediate effective rate of the treatment group was 77%,of which 7 were immediate effective,29 were effective,10 were improved,and 1 was ineffective;the immediate effective rate of the control group was47%,of which 3 were immediate effective,19 were effective,21 were improved,and 4were ineffective,by rank sum test,W = 1871.000,Z =-3.001,P = 0.003 < 0.01,there was a significant difference between the two groups.Conclusions The results of this study show that triple puncture combined with warm acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of piriformis syndrome,but triple puncture combined with warm acupuncture has better clinical efficacy and immediate analgesic effect.Table8;Reference 104...
