The Clinical Study On Acupoint Application Of Huiyang Yixin Ointment For Treatment Of Chronic Heart Failure With Yang Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy of Huiyang Yixin ointment acupoint application on the cardiac function,TCM symptoms,6MWD,gastrointestinal function,depression and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure with Yang Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.MethodsThis study is a randomized controlled single-blind study,selecting 60 patients with chronic heart failure with Yang Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2020 to January 2021,using a random number table method According to the ratio of 1:1,they were divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.Both groups were given basic western medicine treatment,the treatment group was given Huiyang Yixin ointment acupoint application,and the control group was given placebo acupoint application.Both groups were given alternate acupoint application,one group: Xinshu(double),Juque,Shenque,Zusanli(double),two groups: Jueyinshu(double),Danzhong,Guanyuan,Sanyinjiao(double),once a day,4 hours each time,the course of treatment is 10-14 days.To observe and evaluate the treatment of the two groups of patients on NYHA cardiac function grading,TCM syndrome score,6-Minute Walking Distance(6MWD),Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale(GSRS),Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)and Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ).Results1.Comparison of baseline levels between the two groups: There were no statistically significant differences in the two groups of patients age,gender,weight,course of disease,NT-Pro BNP,liver and kidney function,blood routine,EF value,primary disease of heart failure,NYHA cardiac function grading,TCM syndrome total score and each symptom score,6-Minute Walking Distance(6MWD),Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale(GSRS),Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)and Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ),before therapy.2.NYHA cardiac function grading: the total effective rate of the treatment group is 93%,the total effective rate of the control group is 70%,the treatment group is better than the control group,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);3.TCM symptom scores: the total scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);the treatment group after treatment All symptom scores were reduced compared to before treatment(P<0.01),and all symptom scores of the control group after treatment were also reduced compared to before treatment,except for fear of cold/heat(P=0.317>0.05)and unfavorable urination(P=0.157>0.05)Except for),the scores of other symptoms before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.01);compared between the two groups,in terms of shortness of breath,cold/temperature preference,body cold/heat-loving diet,poor urination,and asthma symptoms,treatment The curative effect of the group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);4.6MWD: The distance after treatment in both groups was longer than before treatment(P<0.01).The curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);5.GSRS: The scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);6.PHQ-9: The scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);7.MLHFQ: the scores after treatment of the two groups were reduced compared with that before treatment(P<0.01),the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);8.Adverse reactions: 2 cases in the treatment group and 3 cases in the control group had skin flushing,slight itching,no skin lesions and blisters formation.Considering the irritation reaction of the application,it did not affect the treatment of the patients.ConclusionWestern medicine basic treatment plus Huiyang Yixin ointment acupoint application can effectively improve the cardiac function,TCM symptoms,6MWD,gastrointestinal symptoms,depression symptoms and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure with Yang Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,and no serious symptoms are seen Adverse skin reactions.
