Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Shendong Yixin Decoction In Treating Patients With Chronic Heart Failure (Deficiency Of Both Qi And Yin) Accompanied By Insomnia

Objective:To study the clinical effect of Shendong Yixin Decoction on chronic heart failure(Qi and Yin deficiency)with insomnia.Methods:All the selected cases in this study were from patients(January 2022January 2023)who met the criteria for inclusion in the four outpatient departments of cardiovascular diseases of the First Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.A total of 60 patients were randomly assigned to the trial group and 30 to the control group.The control group was treated with western medicine,and the control group was treated with Shendong yixin Decoction twice in the morning and evening.Both groups were observed for four weeks.Before and after the treatment,the data of total TCM syndrome score,single TCM syndrome score,TCM syndrome efficacy,six-minute walking test distance,improvement of cardiac function grade,left ventricular ejection fraction,NT-pro BNP,Pittsburgh sleep quality score,Minnesota quality of life score were analyzed and summarized.Result:1.Total score and single score of TCM syndromes:Total score and single score of TCM syndromes in experimental group were better than those in cont group(P<0.05).2.Efficacy of TCM syndromes:the efficacy of TCM syndromes in the experimental group was better than that in the control group,the total effective rate was 90%and 80%,respectively,and the effect of the experimental group was better(P<0.05).3.6-minute walking test:The 6-minute walking test was conducted in both groups to compare the length of the 6-minute walking distance between the two groups.The results showed that the walking distance increased after treatment,and the experimental group was better than the control group(P<0.05).4.Improvement of cardiac function grading:the effective rate of experimental group was 86.67%better than that of control group 76.67%(P<0.05).5.Left ventricular ejection fraction:compared with that before treatment,left ventricular ejection fraction in both groups increased,indicating improved cardiac function.The improvement of experimental group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).6.NT-pro BNP:The value of NT-pro BNP in both groups was decreased,and the value of NT-Pro BNP in experimental group was decreased more than that in control group(P<0.05).7.Pittsburgh sleep quality score:Sleep quality was improved in both groups,and sleep quality in experimental group was better than that in control group(P<0.05).8.Minnesota Quality of Life Score:Quality of life improved in both groups of heart failure patients Good,the test group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Shendong Yixin Decoction can reduce patients’ TCM syndrome scores and improve their TCM syndrome efficacy.2.Shendong Yixin Decoction can increase the 6-minute walking test distance of patients and improve their cardiac function.3.Shendong Yixin Decoction can improve patients’ left ventricular ejection fraction and reduce their NT pro BNP levels.4.Shendong Yixin Decoction can improve patients’ sleep quality and enhance their quality of life.
