| PurposeObjective: Observation of the clinical efficacy of the traditional Chinese medicine prescription Huoxue Xiaozhong Decoction combined with percutaneous intervertebral foraminal surgery in the treatment of LDH patients,so as to compare the waist and leg pain,mobility and lumbar function recovery between the two groups of the traditional Chinese medicine combined surgery group and the simple surgery group Happening.Explore the postoperative rehabilitation effect of traditional Chinese medicine prescription Huoxue Xiaozhong Decoction combined with percutaneous intervertebral foraminal surgery to treat patients with lumbar disc herniation,so as to strengthen the treatment of clinical lumbar disc herniation with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,and improve its postoperative rehabilitation and treatment methods Provide theoretical support methods.Methods: from January 2019 to June 2020,60 patients with lumbar disc herniation in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into two groups according to the number sequence method,30 cases in each group.30 cases in the control group were treated with transforaminal endoscopic surgery,routine treatment and follow-up for 8w.The patients were evaluated by straight leg raising test angle and visual analogue scale(VAS).Oswestry disability index(ODI)was used to evaluate the improvement of patients’ quality of life,and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used for the two groups,The levels of IL-6 and PGE2 in peripheral serum were detected by ELISA,and the clinical efficacy was evaluated by modified macnab criteria.The patients were reexamined in the hospital at1 w after admission,and in the outpatient department at 4w and 8w after operation.At1 w,4w and 8w after operation,patients filled in straight leg raising test angle and waist pain scale(VAS score);blood samples were taken to measure and record the content of IL-6 and PGE2 in peripheral serum;ODI score was filled in at 4w and 8w after operation,and the efficacy was evaluated by modified macnab efficacy evaluation standard at 8w after operation.Results1.Two groups of patients were followed up at all time points after operation,the results showed that the number of straight leg lifting height was significantly improved compared with that before operation(P< 0.05).One week after operation,there was no significant difference in the angle of straight leg lifting test between the two groups(P >0.05),but there was significant difference in the angle of straight leg lifting test between the two groups at 4w and 8w after operation(P < 0.05),and the decline index of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.2.The VAS scores of the two groups at each time point after operation were significantly lower than those before operation(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups at 1w after operation(P > 0.05),but there was significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups at 4w and 8w after operation(P< 0.05),and the decline index of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.3.The ODI scores of the two groups at each time point after operation were lower than those before operation(P< 0.05).At 4w and 8w after operation,the ODI scores of the two groups were statistically different(P< 0.05),and the decrease index of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.4.The levels of IL-6 and PGE2 in the peripheral serum of the two groups showed a downward trend at each time point after operation,and the levels of IL-6 and PGE2 in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group at 1,4and 8 weeks after operation(P< 0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.5.At 8w after operation,the improved macnab evaluation standard was used to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups.The excellent and good rates of the two groups were 92% and 86%,respectively.The total excellent and good rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).6.After treatment,no recurrence was found in the two groups during the follow-up period.ConclusionThe clinical effect of Huoxue xiaozaotang combined with percutaneous lumbar foramen surgery for LDH is good,which has a great improvement on the symptoms of lumbar pain,lumbar mobility and lower limb function;and it has a certain inhibition effect on the expression of inflammatory factors and release of pain substances;the combination of Chinese and Western medicine can help patients with lumbar disc herniation to recover rapidly in clinical Results,which are beneficial to prognosis and provide theoretical support,are worth further exploration and promotion. |
