Clinical Observation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined With 308nm Excimer Light In The Treatment Of Alopecia Areata With Liver And Kidney Deficiency

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of bufayin combined with 308 nm excimer light in the treatment of alopecia areata with liver and kidney deficiency.Methods: 60 patients with liver and kidney deficiency alopecia areata were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.30 patients in the treatment group were treated with Bufa Decoction;30 patients in the control group were treated with Jingwu capsule.Both groups were given 308 nm excimer light irradiation and compound siadan Shengfa tincture.The course of treatment was 12 weeks.The patients’ condition was evaluated before treatment,4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks respectively.The skin lesion scores of the first visit and 12 weeks were recorded and compared to determine the clinical efficacy.Zung self rating Depression Scale(SDS)was used to evaluate the mental health of the two groups at the initial and final diagnosis.Results: after 12 weeks of treatment,14 cases were cured,9 cases were markedly effective,5 cases were effective and 2 cases were ineffective in the treatment group,the total effective rate was 93.33%;4 cases were cured,15 cases were markedly effective,4 cases were effective and 7 cases were ineffective in the control group,the total effective rate was 76.67%.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),indicating that the clinical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.SDS score results showed that the two groups of treatment methods were effective in improving the mental health of patients(P < 0.05),and the improvement effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.05);the correlation analysis of SDS score and skin lesion score of two groups of patients before treatment found that they were positively correlated(r = 0.669),and the difference between SDS score and skin lesion score of two groups of patients after treatment was significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.05)The correlation analysis showed that they were also positively correlated(r = 0.563).Conclusion: bufayin combined with 308 nm excimer light can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of alopecia areata patients with liver and kidney deficiency.
