Study On The Academic Experience Of Treating Cervical Vertigo By National Master Of TCM Professor Wei Guikang

Objective:To analyze the treatment concept,characteristic therapy and medication rule of Professor Wei Guikang in treating cervical vertigo by using the method of documentation retrieval combined with the data mining of prescription medical records,and summarize the academic experience of National Master of TCM Wei Guikang.Methods:(1)To retrieve the published works related to the research and discussion on cervical vertigo by Professor Wei Guikang were searched through libraries,Internet,Famous Doctor and other databases,as well as the archives of his former students and his families,and get a preliminary understanding of it at the same time.(2)Combined with the author’s clinical follow-up records during the three years of master’s degree,the medical prescriptions of Professor Wei Guikang in treating cervical vertigo were taken as the research object,and the contents of the collected medical records should include the patient’s sex,age,diagnosis,syndrome types,symptoms,treatment,prescriptions and so on.(3)To establish Wei Guikang-cervical vertigo medical case database through Excel data management software;To conduct frequency statistics,cluster analysis and Apriori algorithm association rule analysis on the collected data through SPSS21.0 and IBM SPSS Modeler 14.1;To analyze and discuss the statistical results with the theory of TCM,and then.Results:(1)In this study,a total of 10 works related to cervical vertigo by National Master of TCM Wei Guikang were retrieved,and the diagnosis and treatment philosophy of Wei Lao on the etiology,pathogenesis,clinical manifestations,syndrome differentiation,treatment methods and specific manipulations of cervical vertigo were mainly discussed.(2)A total of 168 cases of clinical prescription of Professsor Wei Guikang for cervical vertigo were collected,of which 7 cases only recorded manual treatment without listed specific prescriptions;The syndrome types of cervical vertigo involved in medical cases can be roughly divided into 5categories.That is,there were 38 prescriptions for stasis type,37 for liver and kidney deficiency type,31 for Qi and Yin deficiency,28 for liver heat type and 27 for Yin deficiency and Yang hyperactivity type.(3)There were 14 treatments for cervical vertigo involved in the medical case,152 Chinese herbs were used,drug flavor to Gan Wen first,drugs to enter the liver,spleen,heart,kidney meridians in the majority.The top 5 most frequently used single flavors were Bai Shao,Gan Cao,Dan Shen,Long Gu,San Qi;There were 53 traditional Chinese medicines that appeared more than20 times,among which the drugs of activating blood circulation and regulating menstruation,Qi tonifying drugs,blood tonifying drugs,the drugs of removing stasis and hemostasis and drugs to promote blood circulation were the common drugs used by Professor Wei Guikang in treating cervical vertigo.(4)Among the association rules of traditional Chinese medicines,there are 26 second-order association rules,52 third-order association rules and 20fourth-order association rules;Among the association rules between symptoms and traditional Chinese medicines,there are 56 second-order association rules,88 third-order association rules and 19 fourth-order association rules.(5)The first 53 high-frequency traditional Chinese medicines with frequency above 20 were systematically clustered and divided into 7categories,which were mainly represented by Tongan Decoction,Tongqiao and Huoxue Decoction,Shuanghuang Shenma Decoction,Zaoren Yuanzhi Decoction,Liuwei Rehmanniae Decoction,Gastrodia Gouteng Decoction and so on.Conclusion:By analyzing Professor Wei Guikang related theory of medical professional essay writing,and combined with the manipulation force in manual clinical practice,and flexibly apply the internal treatment principles of TCM syndrome differentiation,such as activating blood and nourishing blood,softening and nourishing wind,relieving surface and reducing astringency,warm and cold and so on;At the same time,we should pay attention to the patient’s own reasonable rehabilitation exercise.In this way,the biomechanical balance of the cervical spine can be restored,the functions of the Zang-Fu organs can be harmonized,and make the bone tendons soft,Qi and blood flow,and finally achieve the achieve the treatment effect of local blood circulation of the neck free and self-removal of dizziness.
