Clinical Research On The Treatment Of The Intradermal Needles Plus Traditional Chinese Medicine For The Chloasma Of Liver Depression And Qi Stagnation Type

ObjectiveThis study observed and compared the clinical effect of intradermal needles combined with oral Chinese traditional medicine(TCM)mainly xiaoyaosan with oral vitamin C tablet and vitamin E soft capsule in the treatment of liver depression and qi stagnation chloasma,so as to provide an important basis for the application of pure traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chloasma in clinical practice.Methods64 cases of chloasma with liver stagnation and qi stagnation that met the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group,32 cases each.The observation group was treated with Intradermal Needles on the second day and combined with TCM,which was mainly xiaoyao powder,taken orally every morning and evening.In the control group,vitamin C tablets and vitamin E soft capsules were taken orally every day.All eases were treated with a 6-day course of treatment,with a 1-day rest between courses,for a total of 8 courses of treatment.Recording the area and color score of facial skin lesions on the first day of treatment and after the course of treatment,as well as the score of major TCM syndromes of liver stagnation and qi stagnation,restlessness and chest flank or abdominal or breast tenderness.Satisfaction score of the improvement rate of lesions was recorded after the treatment.ResulisIn this study,64 cases were included,all of which completed the treatment course,and all were included in the statistical analysis.In terms of baseline data,there were no significant differences in skin lesion area,color,and scores of irritability,chest flank or epigastric or breast tenderness between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05)before treatment,indicating comparability.In terms of the evaluation of facial lesions,the area and color score of facial lesions in the observation group and the control group after 8 weeks of treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the degree of decline in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).In terms of the evaluation of symptoms related to liver depression and qi stagnation,the scores of irritability,chest flank or epigastric or breast tenderness in the observation group after treatment decreased significantly compared with those before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05),while the scores of irritability,chest flank or epigastric or breast tenderness in the control group did not decrease significantly compared with those before treatment(P>0.05).In terms of efficacy satisfaction evaluation,the efficacy satisfaction score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of efficacy evaluation of skin lesions,there were 32 cases in the treatment group after treatment,3 cases were cured,12 cases showed significant effect,9 cases were effective,and 8 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 71.88%,significantly higher than the 43.75%in the control group.In terms of the efficacy evaluation of TCM syndromes,there were 32 cases in the treatment group,22 cases were cured,5 cases showed significant effect,4 cases were effective,and 1 case was ineffective.The total effective rate was 96.87%,significantly higher than 34.38%in the control group.During the treatment,I patient in the observation group experienced redness and itching on the skin where the tape is attached,these tapes are the handles of the press needle,The allergic phenomenon is improved after symptomatic treatment,without affecting the course of treatment.ConclusionIntradermal needles combined with traditional Chinese medicine treatment can effectively reduce the area of skin lesions in chloasma patients,fade the color of skin lesions,significantly improve the patient’s restlessness,chest side or abdominal cavity or breast pain and other symptoms of Liver Depression and Qi Stagnation,and the effect is significantly better than oral vitamin C tablets and vitamin E soft capsule group.It can provide a simple and effective way to treat chloasma.
