| Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of the acupoint catgut embedding therapy in the treatment of phlegm stagnation and blood stasis type of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome（OSAHS）, a kind of effective treatment method has been explored for patients.Methods: Included in the standard of 40 cases of phlegm stagnation and blood stasis type of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome（OSAHS）, patients were divided into two groups by Doll ’s clinical cases randomly table allocation methods. Each of the the acupoint catgut embedding therapy group（the treatment group） and routine acupuncture group（the control group）had 20 patients. According to the tutor’s clinical experience for many years, the two groups of treatment of acupuncture points are fenglong, xuehai, yinlingquan, feishu, pishu and shenshu. Recorded respectively the Polysomnography（PSG） results, the score changes of the love splashing voss sleepiness scale（ESS）（the appendix one） and scores of TCM symptoms（the appendix two） of the two groups of patients in the treatment of before, a course of treatment and after the treatment. Compared the differences of two groups and determined the clinical curative effect.Results:1.Analyzed general information（gender, age） of the two groups with independent samples t test, no statistically significant difference（p>0.05）, two groups of data can be compared.2.The indicators of the PSG（AHI、LSaO2）, love splashing voss sleepiness scale（ESS） score and scores of TCM symptoms: After the treatment, intra-group had a significant difference（P<0.05） through the t test; Inter-group had no significant difference（P > 0.05）.Conclusion:The acupoint catgut embedding therapy can effectively alleviate the patient’s clinical symptoms, improve the love splashing voss sleepiness scale（ESS） score, the apnea hypopnea index（AHI）and the lowest Sa O2,etc. It is worthy of clinical popularization and application. |
