Objective: Based on the investigation and research results of the training status and cognition status of undergraduates majoring in public health in H medical college,the main problems existing in the training mode of public health talents were analyzed.In order to further optimize the training mode of public health undergraduates in H Medical College,targeted suggestions were put forward to provide references for comprehensively improving the quality of public health talents training.Methods: According to the talent training program for undergraduates majoring in public health prevention in H medical college,the post competency demand of public health physicians was contrastively analyzed,and the survey was carried out on the undergraduates majoring in public health prevention in H medical college from 2016 to 2019 through questionnaire survey.Investigate students’ understanding of this major,teaching contents and courses,teaching methods and methods,teaching environment,teaching management and assessment.Data were double-entered by Excel 2019 and analyzed by SPSS21.0.Statistical description,chi-square test,rank sum test,multiple linear regression analysis and other statistical analysis methods were mainly adopted.Results: Through the comparative analysis of the competence of the post of public health physicians,the undergraduates of preventive medicine in School H basically meet the requirements of the post of public health physicians.82.7% and 77.4% of the students were very satisfied or relatively satisfied with the teaching materials and curriculum system.The training scheme of preventive medicine undergraduates in H school is reasonable on the whole,but it still needs to be strengthened.In terms of curriculum,H does not offer courses on the interpretation of chest radiograph results,hygiene,health economics,geriatrics and other knowledge.22.1% of the undergraduates are the first choice,55% of the students want to change majors after entering the university,the professional learning group is not stable,the professional thought stability is poor,the professional identity is low;The course structure is unreasonable.34.9% think that compared with theoretical courses,practical courses are a little or too few,26.8% thought that the number of hours of specialized courses was short;Among the classroom teaching methods that students think are most helpful to them,85.1% are traditional instilling teaching methods,which indicates to some extent that both students’ ability and awareness of autonomous learning need to be improved.53.7% of the experimental teaching methods are on-site teaching,which can enrich students’ perceptual knowledge,deepen students’ understanding and mastery of theoretical knowledge,and cultivate students’ ability to use knowledge.14.5% of the students think that clinical practice has no harvest,36.4% of the students have a negative attitude towards clinical practice,and 31.8% of the students think that the arrangement of clinical practice needs to be reformed,which highlights the problems such as the insufficient attention of preventive medicine undergraduates to clinical practice,the low sense of responsibility of the teaching teachers,and the late time of practice.The students majoring in preventive medicine in School H have a high degree of satisfaction with teaching management and assessment.95% of the students think that the examination has a promoting effect on teaching.Conclusion: H school of preventive medicine undergraduates of the talent training scheme is reasonable,the overall training scheme has won the acceptance of most of the students,but preventive medicine undergraduates’ overall quality remains to be promoted,during the period of undergraduate course train still exist in the process of attraction is not high,low professional identity,unreasonable curriculum structure,course arrangement later,traditional teaching methods,clinical practice arrangement is not reasonable,practical quality,practical energy problems such as difficult to balance.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the training plan reasonably,strengthen the attraction of the major,enhance the sense of professional identity,optimize the course structure,set up specialized courses in advance,pay attention to and perfect clinical practice,strengthen public health practice,arrange clinical practice reasonably,promote the interaction between teachers and students,and comprehensively improve the training quality of the undergraduates majoring in public health prevention.
