Objective:Translational medicine is related to the organic combination of medical treatment, scientific research and related industrial chain.Countries all over the world are scrambling to promote its development. In order to accelerate the development of translational medicine,we must cultivate the top talents of translational medicine in China.Under the background of translational medicine,it has become the focus of current research that how to train compound talents[1].Through the analysis of the present situation and existing problems of cultivation of compound talents in a comprehensive third-class hospital in Guiyang, and combined with the scientific research ability and demand status of clinicians, this study puts forward appropriate suggestions for the cultivation of compound talents.Methods:1.This study analyzes the current situation of achievements of scientific research in 2014-2018 in a third-class hospital in Guiyang.2.To investigate the research ability and demand of clinicians in this hospital. There are 320 questionnaires planned to be issued and 295 questionnaires are actually recovered.Spss20.0 is used to analyze the data.Results:1.From 2014 to 2018,the number of scientific research projects increased from 83 to 141,published academic papers increasing from 59 to 333,patents increasing from 4 to 136.The increase in quantity of science and technology achievement awards is small.2.There are significant differences in the number of scientific research projects and published papers among clinicians with different gender, age, title and education background(P<0.05).3.There are significant differences among different clinicians in research methodology ability, statistical software using ability and scientific paper writing ability.4.The most needed knowledge of clinicians in the process of scientific research is topic selection and scientific research design. The main obstacle is the lack of ideas and experimental conditions.5.The most desirable forms of scientific research training for clinicians are centralized training(1-2 days of out of hospital training)and special lectures(half day of in hospital training).Conclusions:1.Insufficient transformation of scientific research achievements in this hospital.2.Clinicians lack some scientific research ability.3.Clinicians lack the ability to find problems.4.The hospital exists some problems of scientific research service.Discussion and suggestions:1.Change sense and attach importance to clinical research.2.Improve scientific research conditions and increase scientific research training activities.3.Improve the incentive mechanism.4.Team work and actively apply for scientific research projects.5.Strengthen cross professional and interdisciplinary communication.
