Since the reform and opening up,as the production,living and ecological space(PLES)that constitute the national space,the pattern of development and utilization has changed drastically,the production space has been obviously reconstructed,the living space has increased rapidly,and the ecological space has continued to shrink,resulting in the rapid consumption of land resources,the degeneration of ecosystem functions,and the decline of the quality of human settlements.How to strengthen the coordinated development of PLES and alleviate the contradiction of the PLES is an urgent problem.To realize the sustainable development of PLES,the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC: the coordinated development strategy of "production-life-ecology" PLES: "productive space is highly efficient,livable space is livable,and the ecological space is green and clear." Under this background,this paper takes Changchun city,Jilin city,Siping city,Songyuan city,Baicheng city,Liaoyuan city,Tonghua city,Baishan city and Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture of Jilin province as evaluation units,taking 2005,2010 and 2015 as the evaluation section,and uses the entropy method and the information weighting method to determine the index comprehensive weight.The function comprehensive assessment formula and coupling coordination degree model are introduced to evaluate its function and calculate the coupling coordination degree.Excel and Arc GIS are used to visualize the evaluation results,so as to further explore the functional characteristics and spatial and temporal evolution pattern of "PLES" in Jilin province.The results showed that:(1)the comprehensive assessment value of PLES function in Jilin province.In terms of time dimension,production function,life function and ecological function showed a trend of "overall rising","overall upward trend" and "fluctuation" trend.The spatial dimensions were "center driven diffusion" pattern,"relatively flat from east towest" pattern and "gradient descent from east to west" pattern.(2)Jilin PLES couplingcoordination level was relatively low.But the development is rapid.In the time dimension,the "overall rise" and the rising speed are relatively fast.The spatial distribution pattern is"gradient descent from east to west" pattern.(3)The overall level of double-space couplingcoordination in Jilin province is low.In the dimension of time,the "production-life" spaceshows a trend of "overall rise",while the "production-ecology" space and "living-ecology"space shows a trend of "fluctuation",that is,"west,middle and upper,east,increasing anddecreasing ".In spatial dimension,the "production-life" space shows the pattern of"central-driven diffusion".The "production-ecology" space is in the pattern of "central depression",and the concave surface decreases year by year.The "living-ecology" space shows a "gradient descent from east to west".
