Research On The Improvement Of College Students' Media Literacy Under The Background Of New Media

With the development of science and technology,Media literacy is of great importance to our country and individuals.In this thesis,the author analyses college students' cognition of Media literacy and gives some advice to solve those problems which appeared in students'cognition.This thesis consists of introduction,three body parts and conclusion.In the introduction,author mainly talks about the object and backgrounds of research,the purpose of topic selection and the contents and methods of research.In part one,it discusses about meaning and development of new media and media literacy.In part two,it analyses media literacy of six colleges' students in Hohhot,including the research of cognition of new media,the influence of new media towards media literacy,the distinction of true and false information,the analysis of new media security awareness and the improvement of media literacy literacy.In part three,the author puts up some actual problems of college students' media literacy and gives them some advice.In conclusion,the author summarizes the whole contents of the thesis.
