| Objective:To observe the effect of Caishao Di Huang Tang combined with LET ROZOLE on clinical symptoms,bone mineral density,tumor markers and biochemica l indexes in postmenopausal patients with renal deficiency and liver depression syndro me of Luminal A type breast cancer,to preliminarily evaluate the comprehensive effe ct of Caishao Di Huang Tang combined with Letrozole in treating breast cancer,so as to provide basis for clinical application.Methods: 48 patients with renal deficiency and liver depression syndrome of Luminal A type breast cancer were divided into two groups according to the principle of random parallel control,including 24 patients in the treatment group and 24 patients in the control group.For the reasons of examination,2 cases failing to meet the requirements in the treatment group were excluded,4 cases in the control group were excluded,and 22 cases in the treatment group and 20 cases in the control group were finally effectively observed.The control group was given Letrozole 2.5 mg,po,qd.The treatment group was given BRP on the basis of the control group,for 3 months as a course of treatment.The symptom score,quality of life score,perimenopausal syndrome score(modified Kupperman score)and bone mineral density(BMD)of the two groups were observed before and after treatment.Changes of estrogen,progesterone and blood lipid levels,tumor markers and possible adverse drug reactions were analyzed statistically.Result: 1.After treatment,the TCM symptom score of the patients in the treatment group was significantly improved(P <0.05),and the effective rate was 63.64%.After treatment,the TCM symptom score of the patients in the control group was compared with that before treatment(P> 0.05),and the effective rate was 30.0%.After treatment,the efficacy of TCM symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P <0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving TCM symptoms.2.KPS scores of the two groups were higher than those of the control group after treatment(P <0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the patients’ performance status.3.Kupperman total score decreased after treatment compared with that before treatment in the treatment group,and increased in the control group(P <0.05).After treatment,Kupperman total score in the treatment group was significantly improved compared with that in the control group(P <0.05).The results showed that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving perimenopausal syndrome.4.The changes of bone mineral density after treatment in the two groups.Although the statistical treatment P > 0.05(considering too short observation period,resulting in no significant change of bone mineral density),the mean value showed that after treatment,the average decrease of bone mineral density in the treatment group was less than that in the control group.This suggests that treatment group was delay the trend of further decrease of BMD caused by Letrozole in patients with breast cancer.5.After treatment,E2 and E2/ P were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P <0.05),suggesting that the treatment group is superior to the control group in reducing estrogen.6.After treatment,TC,TG and LDL-C of patients in the two groups were decreased compared with those in the control group(P < 0.05),while HDL-C was increased compared with those in the control group(P < 0.05),and TG and LDL-C of patients in the treatment group were decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05).TC and LDL-C in control group were higher than those before treatment(P < 0.05),indicating that treatment group was superior to control group in improving blood lipid level.7.After treatment,tumor markers CEA and CA153 decreased in both groups(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups in tumor markers before and after treatment(P > 0.05).During the treatment period,there were no signi ficant abnormalities in the safety indicators such as three routine and liver & kidney f unction in both groups.There were no allergic reactions and no gastrointestinal reacti ons.Conclusion:ChaiShao DiHuangTang combined with Letrozole has definite clinical effect in the treatment of postmenopausal breast cancer patients with Luminal A type aggressive syndrome.ChaiShao DiHuangTang can relieve the a dverse reaction of Letrozole,improve the clinical symptoms and improve the q uality of life.BRP can also delay the trend of further decrease of BMD cause d by Letrozole in patients with breast cancer,reduce the E2 level and E2/ P r atio in patients with postmenopausal breast cancer,improve the dyslipidemia ca used by endocrine therapy in patients with postmenopausal breast cancer,and t he treatment will not interfere with the curative effect of endocrine therapy forbreas t cancer,The
