Objective: to observe the clinical effect of Chaishao decoction on the intervention of minimal hepatic encephalopathy patients(liver depression and spleen deficiency)by hepatitis B cirrhosis, and to evaluate its clinical application value,so as to provide new treatment ideas and clinical experience for the minimal hepatic encephalopathy.Method: a randomized, controlled study is conducted to select 66 MHE patients who met the inclusion criteria. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 33 cases in each group. Both groups received the same basic treatment, the control group received lactulose oral solution oral treatment on the basis of basic treatment, and the experimental group received Chaishao decoction oral treatment on the basis of basic treatment. The test period is 7 days. The time required to complete the NCT-A test,DST test score and TCM syndrome score were used to observe and evaluate the intervention effect of the drug.SPSS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis of data.P < 0.05 means the difference is statistically significant. Results: a total of 62 patients completed the study, including 31 patients in the experimental group,17 males and 14 females.Control group 31 cases, male 18 cases, female 13 cases.According to statistical analysis, the average age of the experimental group is 49.22±8.04 years, with the maximum age of 64 years and the minimum age of 30 years. The average age of the control group is 49.06±8.49 years, with the maximum age of 63 years and the minimum age of 27 years. The mean time to complete the NCT-A test in the experimental group before treatment is83.87±14.78 seconds, and after treatment is 64.66±12.01 seconds. The mean DST scores before treatment is 20.15±6.74 points, and 26.40±6.30 points after treatment. The mean value of TCM syndrome scores before treatment is 16.87±5.40 points, and 7.87±2.77 points after treatment. The mean time to complete the NCT-A test before treatment is79.96±14.02 seconds in the control group, and 71.28±13.92 seconds after treatment. The mean DST scores before treatment is 21.68±5.78 points, and 24.26±5.20 points after treatment. The mean value of TCM syndrome scores before treatment is 16.00±2.85 points, and 11.84±2.46 points after treatment. The age and sex of the experimental group and the control group were compared respectively, because all P values are greater than 0.05,so the difference is not statistically significant.Comparison is made in the time required to complete the NCT-A test,DST test scores, and TCM syndrome score: Comparison is conducted in the experimental group and the control group before and after treatment, because all P values are less than 0.05,so the differences are statistically significant.Comparison between the experimental group and the control group is conducted before treatment, and the P values were all greater than 0.05,with no statistically significant differences. After treatment, the experimental group and the control group were compared between the two groups, and all P values are less than 0.05,showing statistically significant differences. The total effective rate is 87.10% in the experimental group and 41.94% in the control group after intervention. The total effective rate of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: Chaishao decoction can effectively improve the neuropsychological abnormalities of hepatitis B cirrhosis MHE patients(liver depression and spleen deficiency),effectively reduce the clinical symptoms of patients’ discomfort, and reduce the scores of TCM syndrome. |
