Objective:To establish the health education intervention program of We Chat platform, and to explore the effect of the intervention program on postoperative rehabilitation, quality of life and post-traumatic growth of patients with oral cancer. It provides a new idea for postoperative nursing care of patients with oral cancer and provides scientific basis for continuous nursing intervention after discharge from hospital. Methods:Selection in June 2018 to December 2019 in a hospital of anhui medical university of 166 oral cancer patients admitted in oral and maxillofacial surgery as the research object, according to different nursing program is divided into two groups.83 cases in the control group were given health education before discharge and regular continuation care after discharge by telephone follow-up.83 patients in the experimental group were given continuous care of health education before discharge and health education on We Chat platform after discharge. Both groups of patients completed the swallowing function, mouth opening, chewing function, speech intelligibility, quality of life(Functional Assessment Cancer Treatment Comprehensive,FACT-G4)and post-traumatic growth(Posttraumatic growth,PTGI)before discharged. After the intervention, the assessment of swallowing function, mouth opening, chewing function, speech intelligibility,FACT-G4 and PTGI were completed again in the second and fourth months after the operation, and the differences between the scores of the twogroups of patients were compared.Measurement data were described by(x ±s)in accordance with normal distribution.Independent sample T-test was used for comparison between the two groups. The frequency and percentage of count data were expressed,chi-square test was used for comparison between groups, and P< 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results:Before discharge, there was no significant difference in swallowing function, mouth opening, chewing function,FACT-G4 and PTGI between the two groups of patients,P>0.05,but there were significant differences in the scores between the two groups at 2 and 4 months after surgery.(1)At 2 months and 4 months after operation, the swallowing function of the two groups of patients improved, and the swallowing function of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant,P<0.05.(2)At 2 months and 4 months after surgery, the mouth opening of the two groups of patients improved, and the proportion of patients with normal and mildly restricted mouth opening in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant,P<0.05.(3)At 2 months and 4 months after operation, the chewing function of the two groups of patients improved, and the chewing function score of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant,P<0.05.(4)At 2 months and 4 months after surgery, the voice function of the test group patients continued to improve. The voice function of the control patients improved significantly 2 months after the operation, and there was no significant improvement in the voice function 4 months after the operation. The score is better than the controlgroup, the difference is statistically significant,P<0.05.(5)At 2 months and 4 months after operation, the FACT-G4 and PTGI scores and the scores of each dimension of the two groups of patients improved, and the FACT-G4 and PTGI scores of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group. The difference was statistically significant,P<0.05.Conclusion:In this study, after two different continuous nursing interventions, the swallowing function, mouth opening, chewing function, speech intelligibility,FACT-G4 and PTGI were improved to varying degrees at 2 months and 4 months after surgery. Moreover, the swallowing function, mouth opening, chewing function, speech intelligibility,FACT-G4 and PTGI of the patients in the We Chat platform health education group improved significantly, and there was a statistical difference between the two,P<0.05.The implementation of the follow-up guidance for health education on the We Chat platform has promoted the recovery of oral function of patients with oral cancer, and has a positive impact on the quality of life and post-traumatic growth of patients with oral cancer, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
