Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the degree of self-perceived burden of OVCF patients, the current status of family support, and to analyze the influencing factors of self-perceived burden;to explore the relationship between self-perceived burden of OVCF patients and family support, and to provide a theoretical basis for the development of nursing interventions.Method:In this study,109 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures admitted to spinal surgery department of a tertiary class A hospital in Jiangsu Province from June 2017 to March 2018 were investigated by means of convenience sampling method. The questionnaire was filled out in anonymized form, and the investigator conducted one-to-one questionnaire on the subjects who met the inclusion criteria.A questionnaire will be issued after the patient's informed consent and the patient will be informed of the purpose and significance of this survey, which will be collected on the spot after completion. The survey contents include:patient's general information,self-perceived burden, family support, daily life ability, pain, etc.Measurement tools:General information questionnaire,self-perceived burdens scale(SPBS),revised family support scale, activities of daily living capacity scale(ADL),and numerical rating scale(NRS)were used to evaluate the effect of daily living.SPSS19.0 software package was used for statistical analysis, descriptive analysis and analysis of variance were used for statistical analysis.Results:1.The SPBS score of patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures was(25.6±6.86).And in the three dimensions of self-perceived burden, economic dimension score was(2.65 ± 0.86),physical dimension score was(2.50±0.78)and emotional dimension score was(2.33 ± 0.79).Among them, the patients with mild to severe self-feeling burden account for 78.0%,the patients with moderate or severe self-feeling burden account for 24.8%,and the patients with severe self-feeling burden account for 5.5%.The item of "I feel I am the burden of my caregiver" scored the highest, with the result of(2.72±1.10).2.The family support score of patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures patients was(8.75±2.21).16 cases(14.7%)had low family support,72 cases(66.1%)had moderate family support, and 21 cases(19.3%)had high family support.3.The results of one-way ANOVA showed that the role of main caregiver, health status of main caregiver, payment method, pain score, basic disease and OVCF history are the main factors affecting self-perceived burden(P<0.05).4.Regression analysis shows that the fracture history, pain and basic diseases of OVCF are the main influencing factors of SPBS in patients with OVCF(P<0.05).5.Pearson correlation analysis shows that the correlation coefficient between SPBs and family support is-0.369,indicating that SPBs and family support are significantly negatively correlated(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The patients with OVCF generally have the self-perception burden, which is in the light to medium level. The results show that the role of the main caregiver, the health status of the main caregiver, the way of payment, the condition of pain, the basic disease and the history of OVCF are the main factors affecting the self-perceived burden(P<0.05).2.Regression analysis show that the history of fracture, pain and basic diseases are the main factors affecting the burden of self-perception in OVCF patients.3.OVCF patients generally receive good family support, and 75.2%of these patients are mainly taken care of by their children.4.The caregivers of OVCF patients should have an understand of the patients' self-feeling burden conditions, pay special attention to the individuals cared by their children, pay attention to the patients' chronic pain, and provide targeted nursing measures,so as to alleviate the patients' self-feeling burden and improve their physical and mental health.
