| Objective:This clinical study was to compare the effect of the auricular acupoint pressure-bean and ear points imbedding needle on Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(AECOPD)of clinical symptoms integral,6 minutes walking distance,COPD assessment test(CAT)score,analyze the therapies on acute exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in patients of clinical curative effect,provide the basis for optimizing the clinical treatment scheme.Methods:In this study,patients with AECOPD from The Department of Pulmonary Disease,Hubei Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,were randomly divided into auricular acupoint pressure-bean group(25 cases),ear points imbedding needle group(25 cases)and conventional treatment group(25 cases)according to the sequence of their visit.Patients in the conventional treatment group were given conventional western medicine treatment,patients in the auricular acupoint pressure-bean group were treated with auricular acupoint pressure-bean and the conventional western medicine treatment,and patients in the ear points imbedding needle group were treated with ear points imbedding needle and the conventional western medicine treatment.Ear points imbedding needle point and auricular acupoint pressure-bean point are lung,trachea,shen men,subcortical.The main outcome measures were clinical symptom score,and the secondary outcome measures were 6-minute walking distance,COPD assessment test(CAT)score and the total effective rate.Results: 1.Clinical symptom score: the difference between the three groups after treatment and before treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared three groups before and after treatment difference,difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),auricular acupoint pressure-bean group compared with ear points imbedding needle group,difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),auricular acupoint pressure-bean group compared with the conventional treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),ear points imbedding needle group compared with the conventional treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.6-minute walking distance: the difference between the three groups after treatment and before treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared three groups before and after treatment difference,difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),auricular acupoint pressure-bean group compared with ear points imbedding needle group,the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.0167),auricular acupoint pressure-bean group compared with the conventional treatment group,difference was not statistically significant(P>0.0167),ear points imbedding needle group compared with the conventional treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.0167).3.CAT score: there were statistically significant differences between the three groups after treatment and before treatment(P<0.05).Compared three groups before and after treatment difference,difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),auricular acupoint pressure-bean group compared with ear points imbedding needle group,difference was not statistically significant(P>0.0167),auricular acupoint pressure-bean group compared with the conventional treatment group,the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.0167),ear points imbedding needle group compared with the conventional treatment group,difference was not statistically significant(P>0.0167).4.Comparison of efficacy among the three groups: Auricular acupoint pressure-bean group after 5 days of treatment,there were 15 total effective cases(4 cases of clinical control,8 cases of obvious effect,3 cases of effective effect)and 9 cases of ineffective effect,with a total effective rate of 62.5%.Ear points imbedding needle group after 5 days of treatment,there were 16 total effective cases(2 cases of clinical control,8 cases of obvious effect,6 cases of effective effect)and 7 cases of ineffective effect,with the total effective rate of 69.6%.After 5 days of treatment in the conventional treatment group,there were 15 total effective cases(0 cases of clinical control,4 cases of obvious effect,11 cases of effective effect)and 9 cases of no effect,with a total effective rate of 62.5%.There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the three groups(P>0.05).5.Safety evaluation: there were no adverse reactions such as redness,hemorrhage and ecchymosis during the treatment in the ear points imbedding needle group and the auricular acupoint pressure-bean group.Conclusion:This study found that two kinds of auricular needle therapy can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with AECOPD,improve the athletic stamina and improve the quality of life.In terms of improving clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,there was no significant difference between ear bean group and ear acupuncture point buries a needle.And in terms of improving sports endurance,ear points imbedding needle group is better than the auricular acupoint pressure-bean group,and two kinds of therapies are simple operation,less adverse reaction. |
