Objective:Breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy after surgery often experience adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, and constipation. When the symptoms are severe, they can also cause patients to lose their appetite, deteriorate their nutritional status, and even have water and electrolyte disorders, which not only increases the patient’s psychological pressure.Affect the quality of life of patients, and even make patients refuse further treatment. At present, western medicine often uses intravenous anti-emetics or oral anti-emetics for treatment, and these methods have certain side effects. In this study, two methods of auricular acupoint pressing bean and shenque acupoint medicine application were combined to apply to patients undergoing the first postoperative chemotherapy for breast cancer, and observes the effect of this therapy on nausea, vomiting and constipation after chemotherapy,in order to reduce the pain caused by chemotherapy and improve the patient’s life quality and satisfaction. Methods:From March 2019 to November 2019,74 female patients who underwent chemotherapy for the first time in breast and thyroid surgery in a top three hospital in Shandong Province were selected. The patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were divided into the control group and the observation group by using the random number table method. Both groups had 37 cases, with a ratio of 1:1.The control group adopted the routine nursing mode after breast cancer surgery, and the observation group applied auricular acupoint pressing beans combined with Shenque acupoint on this basis.Take one chemotherapy cycle as the observation window. The number of nausea, acute vomiting, delayed vomiting, and constipation scores were compared between the two groups, and the degree of nausea, acute vomiting, and delayed vomiting was evaluated.SPSS21.0 statistical software was used to process and analyze the collected data and draw a conclusion. Results:In the course of the study, one patient in the control group was excluded because of incomplete data collection, and one patient in the observation group withdrew due to unbearable odour.A total of 72 valid cases were collected, including 36 in the control group and 36 in the observation group.1.Before the intervention: The general baseline data, relevant clinical data, and surgical data of the observation group and the control group were compared. After statistical analysis,it showed that there was no significant difference(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.The degree and frequency of nausea: After the intervention, the effectiveness of nausea treatment was compared between the two groups on days1-7 after chemotherapy. The observation group was higher than the control group. The rank sum test was used to evaluate the degree of nausea in the two groups on days 1-7.The results showed that the difference between the two groups on days 1-7 was statistically significant(P<0.05);the number of patients with nausea at different times from day 1 to 7 in the two groups was compared, and the number of patients in the observation group at the stage with less nausea was significantly higher than that in the control group. The rank-sum test results showed that the difference between the two groups at day 1 to 7 was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Degree and frequency of acute vomiting: After intervention, the effectiveness of acute vomiting treatment was compared between the two groups. The effective rate of the control group was 86.11%,the effective rate of the observation group was 94.44%,and the effective rate of the observation group was higher than the control group. The rank-sum test was used to compare the efficacy of prevention and treatment of acute vomiting between the two groups of patients, and the results showed that the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After intervention, the rank-sum test was used to compare the number of patients with acute vomiting at different times in the two groups after chemotherapy, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Degree and frequency of delayed vomiting: After the intervention, the two groups of patients with delayed vomiting were compared 2-7 days after chemotherapy. The control rate of delayed vomiting in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. The results of the rank sum test showed statistical differences Significance(P<0.05);After intervention, the number of patients vomiting at different times from day 2 to day 7 in the two groups was compared, and the number of patients at the stage with less vomiting in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The rank-sum test results showed that the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Constipation score: After the intervention, two independent sample t tests were used to compare the constipation scores of 1-7 days between the two groups of patients, showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Auricular point pressing beans combined with Shenque acupoint application can effectively improve the degree of nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy after breast cancer surgery, prevent the occurrence of constipation, increase the comfort of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients.2.The two traditional Chinese medicine nursing operations are simple, safe, and inexpensive, and are non-invasive nursing operations. They have high clinical application value for improving nausea and vomiting after chemotherapy for breast cancer patients, and are worthy of promotion and reference. |
