Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Primary Dysmenorrhea Of Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Type By Adding And Subtracting Ge Xia Zhuyu Decoction Combined With Auricular Acupoint-embedding

Objective:In this study,Gexiazhuyu prescription modified combined with auricular acupoint-embedding was used to treat primary dysmenorrhea patients of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,to observe its clinical efficacy and safety,and to make objective evaluation,so that it can be more scientific in clinical application and promotion.Methods:（1）A total of 76 patients with PD due to stagnancy of both blood and qi were selected according to the criteria included in this study,and were randomly divided into 2 groups（study group and control group）,38 cases each.（2）The study group was treated by applying oral taking of Gexiazhuyu prescription modified combined with auricular acupoint-embedding;then,the control group were treated with Gexiazhuyu prescription modified orally.The duration of treatment all started from 7 days before menstruation,and a total of 10 days was a course of treatment,with 3 courses of treatment.（3）The symptom score,TCM syndrome score,VAS score and serum PGF_2αcontent within 48 hours of menstruation were taken as the observation indexes.（4）The SPSS25.0 statistical software was used to analyze the self-control and inter-group comparison before and after treatment in both groups.To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the Gexiazhuyu Decoction combined with auricular acupoint-embedding in the treatment of PD due to stagnancy of both blood and qi objectively.Results:（1）This study completed clinical observation of 72 patients,36 in each group.（2）After statistical analysis,the data of the patients’age,course of disease,symptom score,TCM syndrome score,VAS score and serum PGF_2αcontent and so on were comparable before treatment.（3）Short-term curative effect:After making statistics and analysis,the differences between the two groups before and after treatment in terms of disease degree,symptom score,TCM syndrome score,VAS score and serum PGF_2αcontentre were statistically significant（P<0.05）,which indicated that the two treatment methods have therapeutic effect on the disease,but the study group improved more than the control group,the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.It can be seen that the clinical effect of the treatment group is more obvious than that of the control group.（4）General curative effect:From the comprehensive curative effect analysis of dysmenorrhea symptom score,the total effective rate of the study group reached 94.44%,which was higher than that rate was 80.56%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.To analyze the comprehensive effect of TCM syndrome,the total effective rate of the study group was 91.67%,which was also higher than that rate was77.78%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.It is proved that the clinical efficacy of Gexiazhuyu prescription modified combined with auricular acupoint-embedding in treating the PD due to stagnancy of both blood and qi was better than that of applying oral taking of Gexiazhuyu prescription modified.（5）Long-term efficacy:After statistical analysis,there was no significant difference in the VAS score between the follow-up and after treatment of the study group（P>0.05）,but the difference was statistically significant in the control group（P<0.05）.By contrast,the long-term efficacy of the study group treating the PD due to stagnancy of both blood and qi was more obvious than that of the control group.（6）The two groups of patients did not have side effects in the study,which was relatively safe.Conclusion:（1）The joint treatment with oral taking of Gexiazhuyu prescription modified and auricular acupoint-embedding can effectively improve clinical symptoms and TCM symptoms of patients with primary dysmenorrhea due to stagnancy of both blood and qi and the treatment effect is superior to only taking Gexiazhuyu prescription modified.（2）For the patients with PD due to stagnancy of both blood and qi,the joint treatment with oral taking of Gexiazhuyu prescription modified and auricular acupoint-embedding is superior to the treatment of only oral taking of Gexiazhuyu prescription modified regarding reducing the degree of dysmenorrhea and maintaining long-term effect.（3）The joint treatment with oral taking of Gexiazhuyu prescription modified and auricular acupoint-embedding has typical treatment effect and no negative response.Hence,it is one of good ways to treat PD due to stagnancy of both blood and qi.
