Clinical Observation On Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction In The Treatment Of Residual Lower Back And Leg Pain After Percutaneous Transforaminal Endoscopic Discectomy For Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction in the PTED treatment of low back pain and leg pain.Methods:66 patients with LDH were included in spine surger between the January 2019 and January 2020,who were treated with the procedure of PTED and the patients have symptoms of low back and leg pain after the operation.According to the draw lots way and separate into a control group and a treatment,33 cases in each group.The same basic treatment was carried out in the treatment group and the control group after operation,Treatment group started taking Fuyuan Huoxue decoction for treatment from the third postoperative day.There were three courses of treatment,one course for seven days and one dose for one day,control group has been set to blank control group;The VAS and ODI scores of the 3rd,10 th,17th and 24 th day after operation were compared between the two groups,through statistical analysis,compare the clinical effects of the two groups of treatment.Results:There was no significant statistical difference between the two groups in the proportion of men and women,the operation segment and other basic information(P>0.05),which was comparable;two groups in internal comparison: The VAS and ODI scores of the two groups showed a decreasing trend after different periods of observation.There was a significant statistical difference in comparing the VAS and ODI scores of the two groups at different time points(P < 0.01);comparison between two groups: The VAS and ODI scores on the3 rd and 10 th day after operation were not statistically significant(P>0.05),the VAS and ODI scores on the 17 rd and 24 th day after operation were statistically significant(P<0.05),scores on the 24 th day after operation were statistically significant difference(P<0.01);Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups after treatment: The total effective rates of the control group and the treatment group were 84.38% and 96.97%,respectively;the cured rates were 3.13% and 12.12%,respectively,which was statistically significant difference(P<0.01).Conclusion: Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction and basic treatment can reduce the residual pain and improve the activity function after the operation of PTED,so as to find a new clinical idea for the clinical treatment of low back and leg pain and the improvement of patients’ quality of life after the operation.
