Clinical Observation On Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction In Treating Postoperative Swelling And Pain Of Femoral Intertrochanteric Fracture

Objective: To observe the effect of Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction on postoperative pain and swelling function of patients with intertrochanteric fracture of femur,analyze its clinical significance and provide basis for its further clinical application.Methods: Aged patients with intertrochanteric fracture admitted to the second Department of Bone Injury,Anhui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in November 2020 and October 2022 were randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 30 patients in each group according to random number table method by selecting 60 observation subjects who agreed to participate in this study and signed informed consent and met the inclusion criteria.Proximal Femoral Nail Antirotation was performed in all patients,PFNA).The control group received conventional basic treatment,such as anticoagulation,anti-infection,detumination,analgesia,anti-osteoporosis,etc.,while the treatment group continued to take Fuyuan Huoxue Decoction for 14 days from the first day after surgery(excluding the day of surgery)on the basis of the control group,and recorded the circumference of the affected limbs,VAS pain scores,TCM syndrome scores,etc.Statistical software SPSS26.0 was used to analyze the results and draw a conclusion.Results:(1)There was no significant statistical significance in age,gender,body mass index,injured site(left,right)and other general data between the two groups(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference in preoperative swelling degree and TCM syndrome score evaluation between the two groups(P>0.05).In terms of the improvement degree of the affected limb swelling,VAS pain score and TCM syndrome score,the control group and the treatment group were improved after treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05),and compared with the control group,the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:For elderly patients undergoing operation for trochanteric fracture of femur,oral Fuyuan Huoxue decoction can effectively reduce the pain in the treatment process of patients,eliminate local swelling,and promote the recovery of joint function.This study shows that the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine has a special advantage in the treatment of fracture after surgery,and has a significant clinical effect in promoting the healing of fracture after surgery.
