| Objectives To develop a scale of knowledge,attitude and behavior about sexual dysfunction of breast cancer survivors(Breast Cancer Survivors,BCSs)among nurses and nurses in breast cancer department,in order to provide medical and nursing staff with post-operative sexual dysfunction of breast cancer.Methods 1.Qualitative research An interview outline is formed by consulting the literature,books,and discussion among the members of the research group.From July 2017 to February 2018,through the combination of objective sampling and theoretical sampling,we conducted semi-structured in-depth interviews with medical and nursing staff in breast surgery department of 2 Grade A hospitals in Tangshan City,Hebei Province,until the data was saturated.The contents of the interview were recorded and analyzed by colaizzi seven-step analysis to extract the theme that the medical staff obstructed the sexual function of BCSs.2.Development of scale According to the results of qualitative interview and literature review,item pool was formed.A preliminary investigation was carried out on 30 medical and nursing staff in breast surgery of 2 Grade A hospitals in Tangshan City,Hebei Province.The preliminary screening of items was completed in combination with three ways of group discussion and expert consultation.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 295 nursing staff in breast department of four Grade A hospitals in Tangshan City,Hebei Province and three level A hospitals in Shenyang City,Liaoning Province.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested.The validity was evaluated by content validity and construct validity,and the reliability was evaluated by internal consistency reliability,retest reliability and split-half reliability.Results 1.Qualitative research results A total of 10 medical personnel were interviewed.Through the analysis of the quality interview data,3 dimensions are extracted,among which,the knowledge dimension contains 2 topics,and the attitude dimension contains 2 topics,and the behavior dimension contains 2 topics.2.Development of scale results Based on the results of qualitative interview,51 items were formed in the primary item pool of knowledge,attitude and practice scale for breast cancer survivors,including three dimensions: knowledge,attitude and behavior.There were 16 items in knowledge dimension,20 items in attitude dimension and 15 items in behavior dimension.Combining the results of two rounds of expert correspondence,statistical analysis of data,expert advice and the connotation of sexual dysfunction,delete three entries(a10,b1,b10),add three entries(a8,b7,c3),and revise three entries a11,b6,c10).There were 51 items in the three dimensions of the initial questionnaire,including 16 items in the knowledge dimension,19 items in the attitude dimension and 16 items in the behavior dimension.The results showed that the content validity of the scale was between 0.88 and 1.00,and the construct validity was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis with principal component analysis,the factor load was more than 0.4,and the cumulative contribution rate was 67.580.Constructional validity was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis with three common factors,the factor load was more than 0.4,and the cumulative contribution rate was 67.580.Internal consistency reliability: the cronbach's ? coefficient of the scale was 0.972,and the cronbach's ? coefficients of three dimensions were 0.952,0.964 and 0.953,respectively.Retest reliability: the correlation coefficient of test retest was 0.968,and the correlation coefficients of retest reliability of three dimensions were 0.953,0.945,0.901;split-half reliability: the split-half reliability of the scale was 0.956,and the split-half reliability of three dimensions was 0.946,0.93 and 0.892 respectively.Conclusions To complete the evaluation of bcss sexual dysfunction,the scale has a good validity and can be used for the assessment of bcss sexual dysfunction by the medical staff of the breast department.Figure 1;Table 14;Reference 111... |
