Objective To discuss and analyze for the major risk factors for highrisk population of stroke in a community,to master the exposure level and distribution characteristics of the main risk factors. So as to put forward targeted intervention measures for stroke risk factors intervention and raise awareness of prevention and control, meanwhile, and put forward ways to make stroke prevention strategies, standardized management on high-risk population and a comprehensive community intervention for risk factors. Methods Through literature analysis method,a general idea about stroke epidemic situation at home and abroad,as well as risk factors research status, development trend and the latest research results were understood.Residents who were older than 40 years were investigated by a questionnaire, physical examination and laboratory examination by random cluster sampling.Community residents,high-risk population of stroke and medical workers were interviewed by focus group method.By use of SPSS19.0 software, study data were analyzed in descriptive analysis,Chi-square test,T-test and logistic regression. Results The overall prevalence rate of stroke was 6.6%,high-risk population in community residents was 25.6%,and high-risk group merge multiple risk factors.Hypertension, less exercise, dyslipidemia, family history of stroke, diabetes, apparently overweight, smoking, atrial fibrillation or valvular heart disease were risk factors for stroke in turn. There were differences between different gender and age in the exposure factor distribution.Women have a higher exposure rate in dyslipidemia and apparently overweight than men.Men have a higher exposure rate in smoking than women. The exposure rates of hypertension, atrial fibrillation or valvular heart disease, diabetes are increased with age.The family history exposure rate of stroke is decreased with age.The exposure rate of smoking in 40-59 age groups are more outstanding compared to other age groups.Logistic analyses showed that age, education level,TIA,physical exercise, sleep disorder and LDL were all correlated with the incidence of stroke(P<0.05).Conclusion Stroke prevalence and the proportion of high-risk groups were higher than the national average level, and the exposure rate of risk factors for stroke was higher.Intervening risk factors pointedly in high-risk population, strengthening the management of blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipid, strengthening physical exercise, controlling weight, quitting smoking, limiting alcohol, changing the poor diet and living habits are benefit to reduce the morbidity of stroke.Community stroke risk factor screening and intervention for high-risk population are the effective choice for stroke prevention and control.
