ObjectiveBy investigating the effects of cooperative education and traditional education on the clinical post competence of nursing students in higher vocational colleges,this study compares the effects of the two forms of education on the post competence of nursing students,so as to provide reference for the choice of training methods for nursing colleges.MethodBy using the cluster sampling method,the nursing students of three-year nursing specialty in Jiangsu Medical Vocational College were selected as the research object.Among them,100 students in the cooperative education model of the colleges and universities is the experimental group,and 100 students in the traditional teaching mode are used as the control group.In May 2018,self-made General Information questionnaire and post competency questionnaire were used to evaluate the post competency of nursing students and 197 valid questionnaires were completed.SPSS 22.0 statistical software package was used for analysis and statistics.Result1.In this study,200 questionnaires were sent out,200 were recovered,and the recovery rate was 100%.Effective questionnaire 197,the effective rate is 98.5%.2.There was no significant difference in general demographic data between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Comparison of the total score of "Nurse Job competency questionnaire":the scores of the students in the experimental group were all higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of 10 dimensions in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,except for the dimension of "nursing basic knowledge"(P>0.05),the differences in the other dimensions were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of sub-items in each dimension of Nurse Job competency questionnaire:the two groups of nursing students in the clinical nursing skills dimension,"can be standardized to carry out specialized commonly used nursing operations," the two groups of nursing students in the clinical nursing skills dimension "can be standardized common nursing operations.”In the dimension of clinical judgement thinking,"can observe and discover the changes of the patient's condition in time",and "take the initiative to receive new patients in hospital,introduce various systems and environment of the disease area" in the dimension of clinical treatment.In the dimension of health education for students,"can understand the contents of health education for different diseases,"can actively carry out health guidance to the family members of patients,"and" can respond calmly and report timely when an emergency occurs"in the dimension of contingency management.In the dimension of integrated management,"participating in department equipment,drug management,keeping items placed in order,emergency items in standby state" and "able to correctly evaluate,recognize and place themselves" in the dimension of professional quality have the spirit of caution.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the item "ability to adhere to the moral belief in nursing"(P>0.05).And the differences between the remaining items were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The cooperative teaching mode in colleges and universities is beneficial to improve the students' clinical nursing ability,clinical thinking judgment ability,assessment and intervention ability,clinical handling ability,health education ability and interpersonal communication ability.Comprehensive management ability and job competence of professional quality.2.The ability of nursing basic knowledge in post competence of higher vocational students was not obviously improved by cooperative teaching mode in colleges and universities.3.The cooperative teaching mode of colleges and universities provides new ideas for the training of vocational nursing students and improvement of clinical post competence,providing practical experience for clinical teaching.In order to improve the competence of higher vocational college students,it is necessary to further refine the cooperative teaching and training program in colleges and universities.
