Clinical Study Of Wenjing Decoction Plus Or Minus Moxibustion In Treating Primary Dysmenorrhea (Cold Coagulation And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Wenjing Decoction(Furen Quan Liang Fang)plus or minus moxibustion on Shenque Point and Shaofu Zhuyu Granule(Shaofu Zhuyu Granule)plus moxibustion on Shenque Point in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea(cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome).Through statistical comparative analysis,to preliminarily explore the efficacy and safety of Wenjing Decoction(Furen Quan Liang Fang)plus minus moxibustion on Shenque Point.The nature of the study is clinical observation.Methods: 72 patients with primary dysmenorrhea(cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome)who met the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes were selected.The data were collected from February 2018 to February 2019 in the gynecological clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the time sequence of patients’ visits,36 cases in the treatment group and 36 cases in the control group were randomly and comparatively studied.Because of many factors,there were 3 cases falling off or excluding in the two groups,33 cases in the actual treatment group and 33 cases in the control group.By comparing the curative effect of the two groups and the scores of TCM symptoms before and after treatment,the safety and effectiveness of Wenjing Decoction combined with moxibustion at Shenque Point in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea(cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome)were verified.Results: After the treatment course,the treatment group: clinical control 7(21.2%),marked effect 16(48.5%),effective 7(21.2%),ineffective 3(9.0%)and total effective rate91.0%;the control group: clinical control 3(9.1%),effective 13(39.3%),effective 10(30.3%)and ineffective 7(21.2%)with total effective rate 78.8%.The comprehensive effect of Wenjing Decoction group and Shaofu Zhuyu Granule group on dysmenorrhea was tested by X2 test(P < 0.05),which showed that Wenjing Decoction group was superior to Shaofu Zhuyu Granule group in the comprehensive effect of dysmenorrhea.Therefore,the clinical effect of Wenjing Decoction(Furen Quan Liang Fang)plus or minus moxibustion onShenque point in treating primary dysmenorrhea(cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome)is better than Shaofu Zhuyu Granule.Conclusion: Wenjing Decoction combined with moxibustion at Shenque point can safely and efficiently relieve pain and improve other accompanying symptoms in patients with primary dysmenorrhea(cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome).
