Development And Preliminary Application Of Simple KAP Questionnaire Of Delivery Position For Pregnant Women

Objectives1.The purpose of this project is to develop a"simple KAP questionnaire of delivery position for pregnant women",and test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire,to investigate the knowledge,beliefs,behavior of delivery position and provide a scientific and effective tool.2.Through investigation and analysis of the knowledges on free delivery position and the acceptance degree and the present situation,to explore promoting free position throughout labor and birth in the clinical application promotion measures,to improve the quality of work,improve the maternal and child outcomes,promote natural birth,improve the job satisfaction of midwifery maternal and their families to provide some suggestions.Methods1.Literature review method:through the review system at home and abroad about the document of labor and childbirth free position,books,etc.,to understand the clinical development status of free position,and combined with practical work,in the knowledge-attitude-behavior under the guidance of the theory of screening questionnaire items,preliminarily determine the "simple KAP questionnaire of delivery position for pregnant women"the first draft.2.Expert consultation method:a total of 10 experts in obstetrics and gynecology nursing,midwifery,clinical obstetrics and gynecology,nursing management and patient health education were selected to carry out expert consultation on the first draft of"simple KAP questionnaire of delivery position for pregnant women",and evaluate and modify the importance and rationality of the questionnaire items.After two rounds of consulting the expert opinions converge,questionnaire is modified according to the expert opinion,and to form the test version of "simple KAP questionnaire of delivery position for pregnant women" ,and 30 pregnant women has carried on the preliminary investigation,the questionnaire language debug,modify the individual is difficult to understand the words form the final test is used to test reliability and validity of questionnaire.3.Reliability and validity test:objective sampling method was used to investigate156 pregnant women admitted to a class a women and children’s hospital in Henan province,and questionnaire test paper was used to conduct field questionnaire survey.By the method of correlation coefficient,degree of differentiation analysis,stepwise regression analysis,Cronbach’sαcoefficient method and factor analysis method such as entry for screening again,keep the entry form the "simple KAP questionnaire of delivery position for pregnant women" final version.4.Present situation investigation:Using the objective sampling method,260pregnant women admitted to two hospitals in henan province were selected as the investigation objects,and the final draft of the questionnaire was used for field investigation.The results of the survey were recorded in Excel 2016,and IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 was used for data processing to analyze the understanding and acceptance of free body position knowledge of pregnant women.Results1.Questionnaire dimensions and items:through literature review and expert consultation,there are 17 items from 3 dimensions in the "simple KAP questionnaire of delivery position for pregnant women" ,including 5 items from knowledge dimension,6 items from belief dimension and 6 items from behavior dimension.2.Reliability and validity of the questionnaire:the overall Cronbach’sαcoefficient of questionnaire is 0.742;Questionnaire KMO value of 0.786,Bartlett’s spherical inspectionχ~2=1505.684(P<0.001);Three common factors,namely knowledge and belief behavior,were extracted by limiting extraction of common factors and maximum variance rotation method,and the results showed that the factor load of 17 items on the corresponding common factors was greater than 0.4,which basically conforms to the original design of KAP theoretical structure.3.Pregnant women’s knowledge of free position delivery:the total KAP scores of260 pregnant women in free position delivery averaged(38.71±6.28)points,(12.87±1.53)points in knowledge dimension,(16.07±2.04)points in belief dimension,and(9.77±5.02)points in behavior dimension.The results of correlation analysis and univariate analysis showed that there was no correlation between the age,gestational age,body mass index and KAP score of free position delivery of pregnant women,and there was no statistical difference between the KAP scores of free position delivery of pregnant women with different education levels,regions,job nature and delivery experiences.Their knowledge comes from 56.92%of online channels,33.80%of pregnant women do not know what position they can use in childbirth,and 76.92%of pregnant women hope that the position of childbirth is decided by doctors.Conclusions1.The "simple KAP questionnaire of delivery position for pregnant women" has good reliability and validity,which can be used to evaluate pregnant women’s knowledge of free position labor and provide a basis for clinical midwifery.2.Pregnant women do not know enough about free body position,get less knowledge from midwives,and lack initiative in the decision-making of childbirth position.Therefore,pregnancy education should be strengthened.
