Constructing And Using The Questionnaire For The Knowledge,Attitude,Practice Of Humanmilk Donation In Hospital Puerperants

Objective:Construction of hospital maternal milk donations of knowledge,attitude and behavior of KAP questionnaire,survey hospital maternal donor milk KAP status and its influencing factors,to provide help for improving maternal milk donations level of knowledge and behavior ability,as to provide a theoretical basis for the future improvement of donor milk propaganda work,to promote the development of China's Humanmilk Bank.Method:1.By consulting literature,to figure out the current situation,studies progressing,latest achievement for knowledge attitude practice about breast milk donation,both at home and abroad,and design the initial questionnaire for the KAP in puerpera about breast milk donation.2.Combined with literature,through tworounds Delphi method,constructing questionnaire for KAP in puerpera about breast milk donation.3.By pre-survey involved 125 puerpera in the hospital,retest reliability of the initial questionnaire,to form final questionnaire.4.The final questionnaire was used to investigated and analysed the KAP about breast milk donation among 250 puerpera in hospital.Results:1.Throughing the expert consultation and statistical verification,establish the knowledge,attitude,practice(KAP)in puerpera about breast milk donation questionnaire which contain 3 dimensions of the 25 items of maternal breast milk donation KAP questionnaire.In the questionnaire,the score of the knowledge dimension was 0-11,the attitude dimension score was 9-45 which using Likert5 grade,the behavior dimension score was 5-20 which using Likert4 grade,and the total score was 14-76.2.The content validity of the questionnaire is good,CVI is 0.98,the internal consistency is high,the total Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient is 0.89.3.The total score of the questionnaire was 51.03±12.57.the highest score was 74,the lowest score was 32.The mean score of knowledge was5.25±2.24,the mean score of attitude was35.46±13.48 and the mean score of practice was12.35± 6.76.4.During the investigation,only 28%puerpera knew of breast milk donation mainly from hospital official publicity(73%)and medical workers(43%),few information were spread from public media like Internet.5.Different characteristics of puerpera know breast milk donation about knowledge attitude,practice:5.1 Age:The difference on KAP in puerpera about breast milk donation between different age groups shows the age difference wasconsideredstatistically significant(P<0.05)on knowledge dimension.The older,the higher the score of knowledge.5.2Education level:KAP total score,each dimension score are proportion to education level,the higher the education level was,the higher the score was.5.3Family month income:family month income less than ? 5000 has lower score on total score,knowledge score and practice score than other family month income.5.4Parturient womanhas higher each dimension score and total score than primipara;Group with premature has higher each dimension score and total score than group without premature;Group with pure breast feeding has higher each dimension score and total score than group with mix feeding pattern and pure milk feeding group.5.5Neonatal Weight:one-way ANOVA analysis method shows the weight difference was considered statistically significant(P<0.05)on practicedimension,was considered not statistically significant on total score and knowledge dimension and attitude dimension.5.6Delivery method and neonatal gender:by T test,Delivery method and neonatal gender was considered not statistically significant(p>0.05).6.There was a positive correlation between the scores of knowledge,attitude and behavior of breast milk donation among the 3 dimensions,and the results were verified by p<0.01.7.Multiple regression analysis showed that whether the first delivery,whether or not the preterm infants had a greater impact on the scores and total scores of the breast donation of the pregnant women.Conclusions.1.The questionnaire for the knowledge,attitude,practice(KAP)in puerpera about breast milk donation has good reliability and validity which can be used for clinical investigation.2.The questionnaire shows that the awareness rate of milk donation is low,the knowledge and practice ability of milk donation needs to be improved.Relevant departments should also pay attention to the current situation of milk donation,the publicity work about milk donation should be spread on both urban and rural areas,so to advance the development of national breast milk bank.
