Objectives: To investigate the knowledge of human papillomavirus(HPV)infection and HPV vaccine among female residents in Dalian and the acceptance of HPV vaccine,so as to Provide guidance for clinical work,correct misunderstanding of HPV infection and HPV vaccine among female residents in Dalian,and guide cervical screening after HPV vaccination.Methods: A random sampling survey was conducted in the form of questionnaires.A uniform questionnaire was distributed to 434 subjects who were undergoing physical examination in the physical examination center of a hospital and collected after the completion of filling by the subjects,with guidance given.Meanwhile,the questionnaires were also distributed onto We Chat,Weibo and other online platforms,with 112 online users who current residence is Dalian volunteered to fill out the questionnaires.Statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS18.0 statistical software package.All statistical analyses were statistically significant at P < 0.05.The measurement data was expressed as mean ± standard deviation(x ± S),and the count data was expressed by the number of cases and percentage,which was statistically analyzed using a chi-square test or an exact probability method.Results: The total number of cases included in the survey was546.The HPV awareness rate of the respondents was 421(77.1%),and the HPV vaccine awareness rate was 419(76.7%).The awareness rate of HPV infection and HPV vaccine amongwomen of all ages was well,among which the awareness rate of HPV infection among women aged 26-30 years was the highest at 84.5% and the 18-25 age group has the lowest awareness rate of HPV infection knowledge at 71.2%.HPV vaccines are also known in all age groups,with the highest awareness of HPV vaccines among18-25 years old(82.6%)and the lowest awareness of HPV vaccines among 51-60 years old(67.7%).There was no statistically significant difference in the awareness rate of HPV infection and HPV vaccine among all age groups(P>0.05).The awareness rate of HPV was high among different educational backgrounds,and there was no statistically significant difference on the awareness among different educational backgrounds(P>0.05).The awareness rate of HPV vaccine was higher among those with a bachelor’s degree or above than those with an education degree below bachelor’s degree,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the awareness rate of HPV and HPV vaccine among different ethnic groups(P>0.05).The awareness rate of HPV and HPV vaccine in medical-related industries(medical / nursing / health care / health)was all 100%,higher than other industries,and the awareness rate difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The main ways for those in these industries to obtain HPV and HPV vaccine knowledge were through health institutions and medical staff,with rates of 73.91% and 60.87%,respectively.There was no significant difference in the awareness rate of HPV and HPV vaccine among different regions(P>0.05).Among the women surveyed,the rate of accepting cervical cancer screening was41.20%,and way for this part of subjects to access to HPV knowledge was mainly through health institutions and medical staff(57.6%),and the access to HPV vaccine knowledge was also through health institutions and medical staff(55.6%).At present,although a considerable proportion of Chinese women are aware of HPV and HPV vaccine,they do not know enough about HPV and HPV vaccine,and there are still a certain proportion of erroneous concepts.The percentage of women aged 40 and under who had been screened for cervical cancer was 28.17%,the percentage of this group willing to receive cervical cancer vaccine was 64.08%,and the percentage willing to receive regular cervical cancer screening after vaccination was 76.9%.The percentage of women over 40 who were willing to have their children vaccinated against HPV was 47.3%.Only 45.90 percent of women who had sex for the first time at an age younger than 25 years old had been screened for cervical cancer.Of the25.23 percent who did not know what kind of disease HPV would cause,33.3 percent believed that HPV infection would definitely lead to cervical cancer.Conclusion: 1.The awareness rate of HPV infection and HPV vaccine among female residents in Dalian city is acceptable,among which young women have the best knowledge of HPV infection and HPV vaccine.The medical-related industry(medical/ nursing / health care / health)has the highest awareness of HPV infection and HPV vaccine.However,people still have some misunderstandings about the diseases caused by HPV infection,the route of transmission,the role of vaccines,the target population,and side effects.2.The mass media focuses on the promotion of primary prevention of cervical cancer,while health agencies and medical staff focus on secondary prevention.3.Female residents in Dalian have a higher level of acceptance of vaccination for their children.
