| Objectives:To provide a theoretic basis of improving the post-traumatic growth level of fracture patients, this study aims to investigate the post-traumatic growth,self-efficacy and coping mode situation of fracture patients,to analysis the differences in demographic characteristics between post-traumatic growth,self-efficacy and coping mode,to explore the relationships among post-traumatic growth,self-efficacy and coping mode, and analyze the influencing factors. Methods:This study is a non-experimentally research. The research instruments have Post-traumatic Growth Inventory,Self-Efficacy Scale and Coping Mode Scale.Totally 275 inpatients cases of fracture patient were surveyed in 1 certain grade 3 A-level comprehensive hospital and 3 certain grade 2 A-level comprehensive hospital in YanBian state of Jilin province, through convenience sampling method. As for the collected information, the processing and analysis of date were performed by using SPSS 19.0 statistical software.Used the descriptive analysis to evaluate the post-traumatic growth,self-efficacy and coping mode, and analyzed the influencing factors and relationships based on T-test,ANOVA,Pearson correlate analysis and Multivariate linear regression analysis.Results:(1)The post-traumatic growth score of patients with fracture survivors was 53.36±10.169 in this study.Age,marital status, education level, place of residence, type of jobs, the average family’s income a month, past complications, payment method of medical costs, cause of injury, injured parts, transfusion of blood, trauma severity and other factors on the impact of post-traumatic growth has statistical significance(P<0.05);(2)The self-efficacy score of patients with fracture survivors was 26.61 ±6.861 in this study.Gender, age, ethnic group, marital status, education level, place of residence, type of jobs, religion, the average family’s income a month, past complications, payment method of medical costs, cause of injury, injured parts, days after surgery, anesthesia, transfusion of blood, nursing level, trauma severity and other factors on the impact of self-efficacy has statistical significance(P<0.05);(3)The coping mode score of patients with fracture survivors was 52.97±3.178 in this study.Age,marital status, education level, place of residence, type of jobs, religion, the average family’s income a month, payment method of medical costs, days after surgery and other factors on the impact of self-efficacy has statistical significance(P<0.05);(4)The correlation analysis of post-traumatic growth,self-efficacy,coping mode in patients with fracture disease showed that the self-efficacy and post-traumatic growth were positively correlated(r=0.514,P<0.05);between coping mode and the post-traumatic growth were positively correlated(r=0.236,P<0.05);between self-efficacy and the coping mode were positively correlated(r=0.262,P<0.05);Among the dimensions of the coping code, face was(20.04±823),avoid was(19.52±2.07),yield was(13.4±1.288).The scores of all dimensions are higher than the national norm, and has statistical significance(P<0.05);(5)Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the patients with fracture disease were mainly correlated with the self-efficacy,coping mode, cause of injury, payment method of medical expenses and site of injury, which in total explain 33.5%of the variance.Conclusions:(1)Post-traumatic growth during hospitalization of fracture patients was at a moderate level. The dimensions of post-traumatic growth from high to low were life perception, relationships with others, personal strength, new possibilities, and self-transformation;The patient had self-efficacy during hospitalization and was at a moderate level. After the fracture, the patient took an active coping mode during hospitalization.(2)There is a positive correlation between post-traumatic growth,self-efficacy,and coping mode.Improving patients’ self-efficacy and adopting a positive coping mode can help improve the post-traumatic growth of post-fracture patients and address the patient’s related mentality issues.(3)The main influencing factors of post-traumatic growth in postoperative fracture patients include self-efficacy,coping mode, payment methods for medical expenses, causes of injury, and site of injury. |
