Objective:The post-traumatic growth level of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery was investigated,and the influencing factors of the post-traumatic growth of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery were analyzed,so as to provide a basis for future intervention research on the post-traumatic growth of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery.Methods : This study belongs to a cross-sectional survey.Using the method of convenient sampling,241 postoperative patients with primary liver cancer hospitalized in the Department of liver surgery and interventional surgery of 2 grade A general hospitals in Anhui Province from November 2019 to November 2020 were investigated.Use patient general information questionnaire,post-traumatic growth scale,revised version of the pain manifestation index,medical coping style questionnaire,and comprehend social support scale for questionnaire surveys.Use Epidata 3.1 to enter data in the recovered questionnaire,and SPSS 23.0 to analyze the data.Results:(1)Post-traumatic growth score of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery ranged from 21 to 104 points,with an average of(61.60±18.68)points.The scores of each dimension of the post-traumatic growth scale were as follows:interpersonal relationship(20.82±7.86),new possibility(13.62±5.59),personal strength(11.55±4.87),appreciation of life(10.31±4.43)and spiritual change(5.30±2.49).(2)The total mean self-disclosure of patients with primary liver cancer was 38.09±6.76,the confrontation coping mean was 19.41±1.96 in the coping style,the avoidance coping mean was 16.26±3.55,and the resignation coping mean was 13.22±1.61,the total average score of comprehension social support is 60.29±7.81.(3)There were statistically significant differences in age,marital status,family per capita monthly income,current working status,education,fertility status,payment method of medical expenses,operation time,and cancer stage among patients with primary liver cancer after surgery(all P<0.05).(4)There was a positive correlation between self-exposure,confrontation coping,social support and the total score of post-traumatic growth(r=0.381,0.608,0.769,P<0.05),and a negative correlation between resignation coping and the total score of post-traumatic growth(r=-0.420,P<0.05).(5)The total score of perceptive social support,total score of self-disclosure,confrontation coping,resignation coping,age,marital status,educational background,and fertility of patients after primary liver cancer surgery entered the regression equation,and these 8independent variables together explained 69.5% of the variation of post-traumatic growth of patients after primary liver cancer surgeryConclusion:(1)Post-traumatic growth was present in patients with primary liver cancer after surgery,and was at a moderate level.(2)Age,marital status,educational background,fertility,self-disclosure,confrontation coping,resignation coping and social support are the important factors affecting the post-traumatic growth of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery.(3)Medical staff should pay attention to the evaluation of post-traumatic growth of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery,and improve the level of post-traumatic growth of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery by nursing interventions such as improving self-disclosure,mobilizing social support and changing coping styles.
