Uterine fibroids is a benign tumor caused by smooth muscle hyperplasia of the uterus, which causes a series of complications and seriously affects the health of women. The current treatment of Uterine fibroids is given priority to with surgical resection and use of hormonal drugs, the surgical removal is so expensive and has a high risk of the relapse for the patient, and long-term hormone therapy can produce a series of side effects, the traditional Chinese medicine Guizhi Fuling capsule has a favorable efficacy in the treatment of Uterine fibroids, but the effective of the consitituents and molecular mechanism is still not clear, now,we explored the molecular mechanism of action based on system pharmacology method.First,424 consitituents were collected in the compound through the TCMSP database, and then,we selected 82 compounds as candidates with good pharmacokinetic activities and 117 corresponding targets based on the prediction models. Then, the GO enrichment analysis of the candidate targets was employed to decipher the interactions between the targets and the corresponding biological processes.Above all the data,we build up the active molecule-target network, the target–pathway network and the integrated Uterine fibroids disease pathway,as well.We found the underlying action of the treatment of Guizhi Fuling capsule for Uterine fibroids by regulating the TNF,MAPK and NF-?B biological pathways involved in inflammation, immunity and cell apoptosis. In this study,we revealed the molecular mechanism of Guizhi Fuling capsule in the treatment of Uterine fibroids by the system pharmacology method, which provides a new thought and method for modern Chinese medicine in treating the complex diseases.
