Lu's Runzao Decoction Combined With Acupuncture For The Treatment Of 106 Cases Of Primary Dry Syndrome

Primary sjogren’s syndrome is a kind of diffuse connective tissue disease with lymphocyte infiltration and specific autoantibodies(anti-SSA/SSB),invading the lacrimal gland,salivary gland and other exocrine glands.Its main clinical manifestation are dry Angle conjunctivitis,dry mouth disease,repeated swelling of the parotid gland and joint pain.It also has multisystem damage,such as renal insufficiency,pulmonary interstitial fibrosis and so on.At present,the pathogenesis of this disease in Modern medicine is still unclear.There is still no special cure and drug in the treatment of the disease.The commonly used therapies are replacement therapy(artificial tears and artificial saliva)and System treatment(corticosteroids hormones and immunosuppressive drugs).These therapies can’t relieve the symptoms of patients ideally.Their long-term efficacy is not good,and systemic side effect is big.Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of the disease reflect some advantages such as symptoms relieving obviously,small side effect and safe.It is very essential to explore and standardize the Chinese medicine treatment.Professor Lu Zhizheng created the name "Dry Bi" and put primary sjogren’s syndrome in it.Combining with the decades of experience of medical using of himself,Professor Lu Zhizheng summarized the basic pathogenesis is deficiency of qi and yin and collateral obstruction by blood stasis.Professor Lu Zhizheng also created "Reinforcing Qi and Nourishing Yin" as the basic solution of the traditional Chinese medicine treatment.He created "Moistening Dryness Formula of Lu" cooperating with experiential acupuncture point to cure "Dry Bi".Objective:Evaluating the therapeutic effect of the dry eye symptoms of patients with primary sjogren’s syndrome whose pathological type is qi and yin deficiency and collateral obstruction by blood stasis about using moistening dryness formula of Lu.Evaluating the Increase of the curative effect by cooperating with acupuncture treatment.At the same time,evaluating the clinical application value of moistening dryness formula of Lu and acupuncture treatment.Method:The study includes 106 cases of patients with primary sjogren’s syndrome whose pathological type is qi and yin deficiency and collateral obstruction by blood stasis.Divide these cases into treatment group and control group randomly,53 cases in each group.The patients in treatment group are taking moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment.The patients in control group are taking moistening dryness formula of Lu.The total duration of treatment is 3 months.Method of this clinical trial is randomized,single-blind,controlled and forward-looking.Evaluate the clinical curative effect and security index of the patients at MonthO,1,2,3,4,8 and 12.Evaluate the index of laboratory examination at MonthO,12 to evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment.Result:(1)Moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment and the formula itself both can relieve the dry eye symptoms of the patients.Moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment relieve the symptoms rapidly and significantly.Curative effect is gradually increased with the extension of treatment time.(2)Moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment and the formula itself both can increase the result of patient’s Schirmer I test,improve patient lacrimal gland secretion.(3)Moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment and the formula itself both can relieve the Chinese medical syndrome of the patients.Moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment relieve the syndrome rapidly and significantly.Curative effect is gradually increased with the extension of treatment time.(4)In the evaluation of the safety of the moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment,find that it has no damage to the blood system and hepatic and renal function,and moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment is safe and reliable.Conclusion:The study accounts for that the therapeutic effect of the patients with primary sjogren’s syndrome about using moistening dryness formula of Lu cooperating with acupuncture treatment is very outstanding.And formula cooperating the acupuncture method can increase the curative effect.The treatment can relieve the dry eye symptoms of the patients,improve patient lacrimal gland secretion and decrease disease activity index.The treatment has no bad influence to safty index.The treatment is worth to promotiong in clinic.
