| Obsjectives:The children with cough variant asthma(CVA)were treated by Chinese medicine in stages to observe the changes of serum TSLP、IL-4、IL-5 and IgE before and after treatment.Changes in clinical symptoms and signs of children before and after treatment, further clarify the mechanism of action of Chinese medicine treatment of children with CVA,provide reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of children with CVA.Methods:From October 1st,2016 to December 1st,2017,40 cases of children with CVAin the pediatric clinic of Fujian People’s Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.Random number table method was used to divide children with CVA into TCM treatment group(Group A)in 20 cases and TCM-WM combined control group(B group)in 20 cases.Twenty healthy children in the physical examination center were selected as healthy control group(C group). The three groups had no statistical difference in gender, age, distribution of the disease by chi-square test, analysis of variance, and they were comparable.Group A was treated with TCM treatment based on stages, and group B was treated with gazopridema powder inhaled on the basis of group A.The changes of serum TSLP,IL-4,IL-5 and IgE in the two groups before and after treatment were observed, and the difference of cough scores and visual analog scores and major syndrome scores of traditional Chinese medicine wore compared between the two groups.Results:①Before treatment, serum TSLP,IL-4,IL-5,and IgE concentrations were significantly higher in groups A and B than in group C(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between groups A and B(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in visual analog scores, cough scores, and scores of major syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine between groups A and B(P>0.05).er5After treatment, the levels of serum TSLP,IL-4,IL-5,and IgE in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01);while the serum levels in group B were lower than those in group A,but There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The scores of visual acuity, cough score, and syndrome scores of traditional Chinese medicine in groups A and B were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01).However,there was no significant difference between groups A and B.(P>0.05),Efficacy evaluation:In group A,4 cases were clinically controlled,10 cases were markedly effective,3 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 85%.In group B,5 cases were clinically controlled,11 cases were markedly effective,2 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 90%.The total effective rate was bigher in group B than in group A,but there was no significant difference in clinical efficacy between group A and group B(P>0.05).Conclusions:①There was an abnormal increase in serum TSLP,IL-4,IL-5,and IgE levels in children with CVA,indicating that TSLP,IL-4,IL-5,and IgE all participated in the pathogenesis of CVA.②After treatment with staging of traditional Chinese medicine, the levels of serum TSLP,IL-4,IL-5 and IgE in the three groups of CVA children were significantly decreased. There was no significant difference in the levels of serum A and B after treatment, suggesting that the treatment of TCM stage may be reduced. The role of serum TSLP,IL-4,IL-5,and IgE levels in children.③Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of children with CVA treatment has significant clinical effects, suggesting that TCM tratment by stage may correct the Thl/Th2 imbalance response to relieve acute symptoms of CVA.children, improve airway hyperresponsiveness.④Serum TSLP,IL-4,and IL-5 were elevated early in the course of CVA and could provide reference for the early diagnosis and clinical diagnosis and treatment of CVA in children. |
