Objective:To observe and evaluate the curative effect and the prognosis ofchildren cough variant asthma(Heat phlegm in lung) treated by Mulberry Zhikeprescription.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria of cough variant asthma,screeningwith the diagnosis of cough variant asthma in children aged3-16years,a totalof80cases,were randomly divided into the western medicine and traditionalChinese medicine group40cases and the western medicine group40cases.Twogroups of patients gender,age,and TCM syndrome integral have no significantdifferences in the statistics.The western medicine group was treated with oralwestern medicine Singulair(montelukast)treatment.The western medicine andtraditional Chinese medicine group was given after the syndrome differentiationof mulberry Zhike prescription(granules)on the basis of oral Singulair.Bothof the courses of the two groups are4weeks.Observe the adverse reaction andthe prognosis in clinical symptoms and treatment process of two groups beforeand after treatment.Results:1.After treated,the total effective rate of the western medicine and traditionalChinese medicine group was95%,the total effective rate of the western medicinegroup was80%,there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05),theclinical curative effect of the western medicine and traditional Chinesemedicine group is better than that of the western medicine group.2.The clinical symptoms:After the treatment, the clinical symptoms of the twogroups have statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Compared with thewestern medicine group,the frequency of cough, the degree ofcough,expectoration,thirsty, stool indexes after treatment in the westernmedicine and traditional Chinese medicine group,there were statisticallysignificant differences(P<0.05).It proved that the treatment of the two groups both can improve the symptoms,and the effect of the western medicine andtraditional Chinese medicine group is better than the western medicine group.Butin the fever, cardiac heat,urine indexes(P>0.05),statistics is efficacy ofthe two groups.3.After6months of follow-up,in the western medicine and traditional Chinesemedicine group,cough recurrence rate was lower than the western medicinegroup,the mulberry Zhike prescription combined with western medicine ofSingulair in reducing the recurrence is better than pure western medicine group.4.Two groups of patients during treatment showed no physical discomfort and otheradverse events.Conclusion:Mulberry Zhike prescription combined with oral western medicineSingulair for clinical treatment of CVA,in improving the clinical symptoms,theclinical cure rate has notable effect.The prognosis is not easy to relapse.
