The Clinical Observation Of Tong Xie Yao Fang Jia Wei Fang On Treating The Diarrhea Type Of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Liver And Spleen Deficiency)

Objective:By using Txyf(Tongxieyaofang)Jiaweifang to treat irritable bowel syndrome,and have a contrast with Western medicine Pinaverium Bromide,observing the improvement of clinical symptoms about Txyf Jiaweifang for IBS-D patients,appraising the clinical curative effect of Txyf Jiaweifang,so as to generalize the clinical application of it.Methods:60 IBS-D patients who confirm to the inclusion criteria are selected and are divided into two groups randomly,namely 30 patients for treatment group and 30 patients for control group.28d are set as a course of treatment and the patients are treated by a course of treatment.The treatment group patients are treated by Txyf Jiaweifang while the control group patients are treated by pinaverium bromide 50mg tid.Questionnaire method is employed to record the clinical symptom scored of the subjects before and after the treatment course and visits are paid a month after drug withdrawal.The untoward effects are observed and the total scores,scores of different symptoms and long-term curative effects of the two groups patients are compared.Finally,the clinical effect of treating IBS-D patients by Txyf Jiaweifang is evaluated objectively.Results:1.Comprehensive effect:after 4 weeks treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group is 93.33%and the control group is 66.67%.The difference has statistical significance which shows that the comprehensive effect of the treatment group is significantly better than the control group.2.Symptom improvement:for main symptom,the stool frequency,stool property,stomachache or abdominal discomfort,fullness and scurrying pain in chest and hypochondrium of both groups patients are improved significantly and have good long-term effect.Except for the long-term effect of stool frequency which both groups patients have same curative effect,the other aspects of the treatment group patients are all much better than the control group.For minor symptom,both groups patients are improved in borborygmus flatus and abdominal distension;the improvements of control group patients in stool mucus,emotional depression or agitation are not obvious;except for the visits 4 weeks after abdominal distension and the visits after borborygmus flatus treatment which both groups patients have same curative effects,the curative effects of minor symptoms of the treatment group are much better than the control group.3.Long-term effect:a month after drug withdrawal,the total effective rate of treatment group is 86.67%,and control group is 53.33%.The difference has statistical significance which shows that the long-term effect of the treatment group is significantly better than the.control group.It can be concluded that Txyf Jiaweifang has a remarkable effect on improving clinical symptom of IBS-D,and it also has a good long-term efficacy.
