Clinical Research Of Si Jun Xiao Yao Tang Jointing Pinaverium Bromide In Treating Diarrhea Type Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Objective:Observe the clinical curative effect of the diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome(Liver-stagnation with spleen-deficiency type) with Si Jun Xiao Yao Tang and Pinaveriura Bromide and explore the mechanism of treating functional dyspepsia from theoretical and clinical aspects.Method:64 patients diagnosed with IBS were form Digestive Disease Center of HuBei Hospital of TCM from the June 2007 to the June 2008.All the cases were to comply with a standard of Romeâ…¢and their TCM syndrons were Liver-stagnation with spleen-deficiency type.The cases were divided into two groups randomly:the treatment group(32cases) and control group(32cases).And there is a significant difference between the treatment group and control group(P<0.05).The treatment group given Si Jun Xiao Yao Tang.And the control group given 1 table of Pinaverium Bromide tid.The course of both groups were 4 period of treatments which contain 7 days.After 4 uninterrupted period of treatments,statistical curative effect and observe patients generally.During treatment patients not taking other drugs.And advice to give up smoking and drinking,diet acrimony stimulation food.Results:1.In the treatment group,22 cases have apparent effect,8 cases availability,2 cases nullity;however,in the control group,14 cases have apparent effect,10 cases availability,8 cases nullity.The totally effective rate of treatment group come to 93.75%,While that of control group is 75.00%,and there is a significant difference between the treatment group and control group(P<0.05).Treatment group can improve significantly the symptoms,and the curative effect is better than of control group.2.There were no singificant difference on symptom accumulation fraction between two groups(P>0.05)before treatment.Two groups of base-line material before treating have comparability.after 4 weeks treating,there were significant meaning in the symptom accumlation fraction between two groups(P<0.01).3.The treatment group can obviously improve the patients abdominal pain,diarrhea,abdominal distension,endless defecate, and mucous wait for a symptom.Its curative efficacy is better than control group(P<0.05).4.Treatment group can obviously improve the patient eat less, insomnia,depression symptoms,etc.Its curative efficacy is better than control group(P<0.05).5.The treatment group can significantly reduce the recurrence rateof patient IBS symptoms,and improve the improve the quality of the patients.Conclusion:This topic research suggest Si Jun Xiao Yao Tang joint related westen medicine treatment of diarrhea of IBS effects than pure western medicine.The Xiao Yao Si Jun Tang may have following mechanism:1.Protects gastrointestinal mucosa,enhances and maintains mucosal defence function;2.Eases muscle spasm,and has the effect of preventing diarrhea and pain.3.Adjusts the central nervous system,eases mental pressure of patients,and has the effect of calming.4.Adjusts patients immunity,and has the effect of enhancing physique.5.Has the effect of anti-inflammatory and antitumor.Therefore,we should exert the advantages of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of disease, promote the development of academic level of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine,the better to improve the health level of our people.
