According to statistics, due to the the factors of limitation of medical resources, economic conditions, functional rehabilitation was slow,75% ~85% of stroke patients discharged in the end.Balance dysfunction in patients with stroke because of balance function is poor, weak ability to walk, and inadequate athletic stamina, most of the time they have to sit or lie in bed in daily activitives. Then lead to low levels of participate in social activities and living quality. This can bring to the patient, their families and the society serious mental pressure and economic burden. Therefore, looking for a simple, economic, good curative effect of community rehabilitation treatment technology to help patients to recover its good balance function, has the extremely significant significance. Objective:To investigate the effect of Tai chi "yunshou" training on balance function and activities of daily living(ADL)of stroke patients with hemiplegia in community so as to provide evidences for community-based cognitive rehabilitation intervention. Methods:According to the random digits table,The 54 patients with balance dysfunction after stroke that meeting the selected criteria, were divided into Tai chi "yunshou" treatment and control group according to the random digits table,27 cases in the two groups. The control group received conventional rehabilitation training, and the Tai chi "yunshou" group were added with Tai chi "yunshou" on the basis of control group. The routine rehabilitation training is 5 times per week, which last for 8 weeks.Tai chi "yunshou" is 30 min per times and 5 times per week, which last for 8 weeks. Two groups were respectively evaluated with Berg Balance Scale(BBS),Timed up and go test(TUGT)and modified Barthel index(MBI)before training, after training 4 weeks, after training 8 weeks and After 1 months of follow-up.Date analysis use SPSS22.0 s-tatistical software for statistical analysis. Results:Two groups of Intervention methods and Curative time all have statistical significant impacts on the BBS(P=0.022,P<0.001),the TUGT(P=0.030,P<0.001)and MBI(P=0.046,P<0.001)score.The control group and the Tai chi "yunshou" group's BBS and TUGT score were rising over time, but the Tai chi "yunshou" group at a greater change with the time. This suggests that both groups have exact curative effect on balance dysfunction after stroke. As the extension of treatment time, the Curative effect is better and better and the Tai chi "yunshou" group was more obvious. On the MBI,the score of control group was rising at each time point during the treatment, but the increase was not obvious at follow-up period.During the treatment and follow-up period, the Tai chi "yunshou" group's score were rising all the time and was superior to the control group. It shows that its Curative effect on activities of daily living was more significant.Conclusion:1.The routine rehabilitation training combined with the application of Tai chi "yunshou" training can distinctly improve the balance function and activities of daily living for patients after stroke in community,But the latter is better than the former.2.It is a kind of effective method in improvement of balance function after stroke in community.
