Clinical Observation About Plum Blossom Needle Treatment Of Liver And Kidney Deficiency Type Of Alopecia Areata

Objective: To observe the Plum blossom needle therapy clinical efficacy and safety for liver and kidney deficiency type of Alopecia Areata.To discuss Plum blossom needle treatment of liver and kidney deficiency type of Alopecia Areata mechanism.To provide a new theoretical basis and methods for further study of modern mechanism and post-prevention about Plum blossom needle treatment of liver and kidney deficiency type of Alopecia Areata,thereby providing a better treatment for clinic.Methods: According to the patient’s symptoms and signs,the 89 cases of subjects,according to clinical treatment method of randomizing,controlling,were divided into treatment group of 30 patients,in the control group of 30 patients,and the blank group 29 cases.Within the treatment group,they received Plum blossom needle treatment: pre-treated with 75% of medical alcohol disinfection of local area,then taken spiral buckle thorn from outside to inside,local lesions using moderate buckle thorn,until to the level of micro-bleeding,with points buckle thorn is based on mild needling,until to the level of flush,once treatment every 3 day,twice a week;within the control group,using 5% Minuoxidil Tincture treated outside,and local massage for 5-10 minutes,twice a day;within the blank group,using 75%of medical alcohol treated outside,and local massage for 5-10 minutes,twice a day.After 3 times of therapeutic process in different groups,we would evaluate the effectiveness of those groups.By means of ratings alopecia areata symptoms before and after treatment,recording adverse reactions whentreatment.After the test,there is a follow-up in the third month.The obtained data were statistically analyzed by using statistical software SPSS17.0.Results: 1.Clinical efficacy: within treatment group of 30 patients,12 cases were clinically cured;11 cases were markedly effective;5 cases were effective,and 2 cases were invalid.The total efficiency is 93.33%.Within the control group of 30 patients,3 cases were clinically cured;7 cases were markedly effective;11 cases were effective,and 9 cases were invalid.The total efficiency is 70.00%.Within the blank group of 29 patients,1 case was clinically cured;2 cases were markedly effective;3 cases were effective,and23 cases were invalid.The total efficiency is 20.69%.By Rank-sum test analysis,Z = 36.210,P = 0.000 <0.50,the difference was statistically significant.2.Contrast of Clinical lesions total scores: Before treatment,the total scores of these three groups of hair loss symptom was no significant difference(P> 0.05),three groups were comparable.After treatment,the treatment group,the scores of the hair loss symptom decreased,comparison between before and after treatment(P <0.05),the difference was significant,and there was statistical significance;within the control group,the scores of the hair loss symptom reduced,comparison between before and after treatment(P <0.05),there are significant differences;within the blank group,after treatment,the scores of the hair loss symptom decreased,comparison between before and after treatment(P <0.05),there are significant differences.The scores of the hair loss symptom all reduced in these 3 groups,comparison between before and after treatment(P <0.05).3.The onset time comparison:After treatment,the treatment group,the control group,and blank group comparison onset time(P <0.05),there are significant differences.4.In the third month of follow-up after treatment,the treatment group got an assessment of hair loss symptom again.In the third month of follow-upafter treatment,comparison of relapse rate in three groups(P <0.05),there are significant differences.Conclusion: The Plum blossom needle in the treatment of liver and kidney deficiency type of alopecia areata is efficacy,safety,rapid onset,low recurrence rate,no significant side effects;their clinical efficacy and onset time are better than 5% Minuoxidil Tincture.Plum blossom needle therapy treatment mechanism is not clear yet.According to the principle of Plum blossom needle treatment,it is considered maybe it applies to skin,smooth the local blood,and expand blood microcirculation,so blood circulation is faster.At the same time,the pathogenic factor is out by the grain of skin and the texture of the subcutaneous flesh,local anomalies factor restore the balance,harmonizing Yin and Yang,local hair can be nourished and grow.This test is carried out according to syndrome differentiation acupoints,adjust the activities of Qi in the whole interior human body,and promote local hair growth.This method is safe;the effect is significant;easy to operate and should be introduced in clinical practice.
