RAV End-Seal Research On Dynamic Sealing Performance

The technical difficulty of the RAV lies in its sealing currently.Especially,the dynamic seal formed between the end seal and the rotor not only affects the internal sealing performance of RAV,but also affects the external sealing performance of the RAV.The dynamic seal performance between the end seal and the rotor is analyzed,an accurate dynamic seal model is established,and the influence of different factors on the dynamic seal performance is analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for the structural design and seal diagnosis of the end seal and the rotor.This article takes the dynamic seal formed between the end seal and the rotor as the research object.The main research content includes the following aspects:(1)The contact seal formed by the end seal and the rotor is analyzed.The contact pressure mathematical model of the end seal of the RAV is established.The influence of different parameters on the contact pressure distribution between the end seal and the rotor and stator is analyzed.(2)According to the particularity of the RAV seal,a non-contact seal between the end seal of the circumferential seal area and the rotor is obtained.Based on the hydrodynamic lubrication theory,a fluid lubrication model of the circumferential seal zone was established,and the oil film thickness distribution in this area was solved by numerical methods.Finally,the influence of different parameters on the distribution of oil film thickness was analyzed,and the relationship between the leakage amount in the circumferential seal area and the rotational speed and oil pressure was obtained.(3)Based on micropore sealing theory,the microporous seal was applied to form a microporous end seal between the face seal and the rotor sealing surface,and a fluid lubrication model of the microporous end face seal was established.The thickness of the oil film between the seal faces was solved by a numerical method.Based on the pressure distribution,the relevant parameters such as opening force,friction torque and leakage amount were solved.(4)Through the friction test machine and the hydraulic system of the RAV,the laser-treated micro-hole steel plate and the rotor were subjected to the friction test and the RAV experiment,and the experimental results were analyzed.
